Intel Spec and explanation:

CORSAIR 5000D AIRFLOW TEMPERED GLASS GAMING CASE Coolermaster case selected is a good case, but does not support 280mm radiator which I would recommend for the 5900X or 12700K

Some good points made above about monitors. Looking at a single ultrawide display, or a dual monitor display are both valid options. What I would categorically not recommend is going for the Ilyama monitors. They are TN panels, which have poor contrast, image quality and viewing angles. They are...
This has put the final nail in the coffin. I’ve been contemplating purchasing a CompuCleaner for a little while now having seen glowing reviews on the forum, and with your most recent testimonial I have decided to take the plunge and purchase.
It’ll be nice to give my PC and peripherals a proper...
I wouldn’t buy it in its current state, there’s quite a few areas I would recommend adjusting.
What is your budget?
Any uses besides gaming?
What monitor are you pairing this with? Make and model or resolution and refresh rate is handy to know.
Please can you post the config link to help us...
The first two seasons of Lucifer have dropped on Netflix so I've started watching the series. Seems like a nice solid crime drama at the moment, although I believe that the show dips into the more mythical side later with more heaven and hell shenanigans (and God who isn't played by Morgan...
If you're looking to order in September, I would wait until the new generation of CPUs and GPUs come out. We are expecting very large performance gains from Intel, AMD and Nvidia and it will likely change what we would recommend for you.
The rest of the build needs a bit of work as well, so it...
Looking towards the top end of your budget, this is where I would be looking. Any questions please ask! :)

Sounds like a good plan. You could definitely upgrade to a Gen 4 drive as your secondary to take advantage of Direct Storage, but I would still advise having your OS on a separate drive. Downgrading the GPU to the 3070 should free up that budget for you.
Paired with this 28 inch 4k 144hz Samsung Monitor we can get you a cracking PC and monitor for just over £3.2k!

£1400 is going to be quite a challenge to put together a 1440p gaming PC I'm afraid. At this sort of budget we would normally be targeting 1080p, but your friend has a pretty decent monitor that will require a fairly beefy GPU to run well. The 3060 should do ok as Apex isn't massively demanding...
The monitor and the GPU are closely related, we'll pick out a monitor that pairs well with the GPU. With this sort of budget 4k is definitely achievable.
What would be your total budget for PC and monitor, just so we know what we're working towards? Also, is there a reason why you think a...
Happy to help you put together a PCS build.
Just to condense your initial post:
You're looking for a PC to handle gaming, digital art, and photo editing.
You have a budget of £3200, and you want to include a monitor in that budget too.
If you could please confirm the above we can get cracking :)
The above doesn't look like a PCS build. As this forum is owned by PCS we can only comment on PCS builds. If you're looking for advice on a self build I would recommend an open forum such as Tom's Hardware. Alternatively we can also try and spec you a PCS build if that is something that you're...
Rejigged the build slightly for you.
Case
COOLERMASTER MASTERBOX TD500 MESH ARGB GAMING CASE Solid case, could stretch to the 5000D airflow but this will do the job and I’m wary that we’re already slightly over budget.

Gone with a slightly different loadout. The 5800X3D is AMD’s top gaming CPU, but it’s uses are fairly niche. You’re only really going to benefit from the extra cache at high refresh 1080p, and some INCREDIBLY CPU intensive games I.E MSFS. At 4K that’s not noticeable. Therefore I would instead...
I wouldn't recommend a DDR5 system, DDR5 is still in its infancy and has yet to be optimised, you're currently paying a large premium on RAM that won't give a performance increase over current DDR4 options.
For a 12th gen Intel CPU and a 3080 GPU I would want at least a 850W PSU, and ideally a...
The AMD build just about gets you in budget.
However knowing these details will also help us see how much wiggle room we have, as there are still a couple of components I'm not completely happy with.

This would be my budget Intel spec. Still a bit over budget and I wouldn't want to downgrade anything on here.

Looks like your budget has increased since March, what sort of figure are we aiming for now?
I see you've also upped the GPU, have you purchased a new monitor to complement this as it will be wasted on your current display.
