Hi, I am looking to buy a PC with a budget of 1.2K but would prefer to spend less if possible. The PC I have found has the specifications:

Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Six Core CPU (3.7GHz-4.6GHz/35MB CACHE/AM4)
Motherboard
ASUS® TUF GAMING B550-PLUS (DDR4, USB 3.2, 6Gb/s) - ARGB Ready!
Memory (RAM)
16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3600MHz (2 x 8GB)
Graphics Card
8GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3050 - HDMI, DP, LHR
1st M.2 SSD Drive
256GB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (2000 MB/R, 1100 MB/W)
1st Storage Drive
2TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA SATA-III 3.5" HDD, 6GB/s, 7200RPM, 256MB CACHE
Power Supply
CORSAIR 450W CV SERIES™ CV-450 POWER SUPPLY
Processor Cooling
PCS FrostFlow 240 Series ARGB High Performance Liquid Cooler (AMD)

I am looking to play games like Valorant, GTA 5 and COD Warzone or just online games in general.

Welcome. We can most definitely help. I'm not convinced 1.2k is going to get you what you need but we can certainly try. It'll be close :D

We would need some more information, there's a collective of what we would need along with some guides on how to post up the spec so that we can help with the configuration etc.

Have a read through then pop back with the added info required.

Thank you for replying,
My monitor is 144hz with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. My primary use of a PC is for gaming.

Can you post the configuration link to the build you suggested? Just so that we can see your other requirements such as Shipping, Windows License, Warranty, etc.

There's a lot to consider to try and trim inside the budget :)

This would be my budget Intel spec. Still a bit over budget and I wouldn't want to downgrade anything on here.

The AMD build just about gets you in budget.

Can you post the configuration link to the build you suggested? Just so that we can see your other requirements such as Shipping, Windows License, Warranty, etc.
However knowing these details will also help us see how much wiggle room we have, as there are still a couple of components I'm not completely happy with.

Yeah @MrWilson is right on target for a solid build that has enough power to suit your needs

Though I'd rather have a bit more juice on the PSU for future upgrades

A lot depends on what games you are playing, whether they are CPU intensive or not. Personally, I haven't had issues with my 3600 which is the old-gen version of the 5500....then again, I have only played Forza games on it and they are almost exclusively GPU focused
No, the 5500 is a very different part -- it's a 5600G without the integrated graphics. It's not the greatest CPU and it doesn't even have PCIe 4.0. I'd definitely pay the little extra to get the proper 5600.
