What will the PC be used for? Just gaming or other tasks as well?
What is your max budget? A "decent budget" doesn't give us any information at all. We could spec something for £4K or £1,500.
What monitor will you be using with the build?
You're going to struggle to get something for that budget. I can't do it in the configurator without compromising on a number of components. Closest I can get is £1,553.00.
Generally these days, we advise that £1500 is the minimum budget for a custom PC, and even then it's low, entry level...
That would depend. In 4K? No. In 1080p, more likely.
I wouldn't get that build though. Intel 14th Gen CPU's are broken out the box, even with the microcode update they've released to slow down to the degradation.
Here's the official line from PCS on it...
That build looks like you've gone "this is my budget so I have to max it out". £3.5k on a 1440p is crazy.
You could save yourself a grand and get a 4k setup, with the extra thousand on a new 4K monitor.
Even without the thermal throttling, you’re going to struggle to get any real performance out of that GPU when gaming, taking into the consideration the game of course.
AAA Games these days are using more and more processing power and the 4GB you’ve got is nowhere near enough. We’re getting to...

We need some more information from you. Have a read through this thread.
You've made the build that FigmentOfYourImagination made worse by saving money on a cooler to upgrade your motherboard, then tried to lessen the effect of said change by adding extra case fans. If you're going to use the extra USB ports the motherboard offers then great, get that one, but not at...

All you need to do is choose a size. A @SpyderTracks said up-page, a 50x50 sheet should do both CPU and GPU in your laptop.
