That would depend. In 4K? No. In 1080p, more likely.

I wouldn't get that build though. Intel 14th Gen CPU's are broken out the box, even with the microcode update they've released to slow down to the degradation.

Here's the official line from PCS on it:

No one here would advise you to get an Intel build at the moment. AMD are so far clear of them.

Have a read through this thread:

There are some questions in there that need answering. Try to give as much detail as possible and I'm sure we can put something together for your needs/budget.

Thanks for the help.

I have noted what you say about Intel processors and an happy to change to an AMD Processor and graphics card..

Budget - Say £ 1300 max.

Use - playing gams especially mentioned in header, watching live streams e.g.footoball and programs from netflix, disney etc.
no video editing.

Monitor - Samsung curve screen 1920x 1080 - refresh rate 60 ghz. bit depth 8 bit.

Currently running on a laptop gtx1660 ti.

Not sure what else to say other than this may be my last Pc and wanat one that will play the above two games smoothly at a good to high quality .

You're going to struggle to get something for that budget. I can't do it in the configurator without compromising on a number of components. Closest I can get is £1,553.00.

Generally these days, we advise that £1500 is the minimum budget for a custom PC, and even then it's low, entry level. Components are just expensive at the moment.

I can get close to your budget by removing Windows (you can transfer the licence from your laptop assuming it's being retired but you'r need to install Windows yourself once you get the system).

I'm a bit iffy on the graphics card and whether that one is any good but, given your low end monitor, I imagine it should be fine.

Thanks to both of you for your help.

My only issue will be I assume if I transfer the Windows licence I will not be able to continue to use my current Laptop?

Just so you are aware currently I am 74 and at the moment ok and in the immediate future the 2 games i am most interested in are as in the header and have based my requirements on thier reccommended specs so am happy with a PC that will play them without crashing or buffering .

Again thanks for your help and time.
