PCSPECIALIST I need a new headset

As the title suggests, I'm in need of a new headset. Main use will be gaming, but also for watching TV, films, YouTube etc. I don't have a huge preference either way between wired and wireless, but if a gun was held to my head I'd go for wireless. I'd also like them to look clean. No bright...

PCSPECIALIST new PC for vide editing

If the Intel CPU's were a horse, they'd have been taken out back and shot by now. Please do yourself a favour and don't waste your money like so many before you that are now having issues. Just go with AMD. Just to confirm, you already have the ROG Strix XG43UQ monitor? And your budget is still...

    PCSPECIALIST Build advice

@steventurnerpro It can be overwhelming. There are A LOT of options and countless combinations. My advice is to stop playing with the configurator. Let everyone do that for you. That will take the emphasis off you getting things right (or wrong!) The monitor/GPU comment above wasn’t meant...

PCSPECIALIST Specs advice repost with additional info

I wouldn’t recommend a mini-ITX PC to anyone so for that reason I didn’t reply and left it to someone else. Connecting a PC to a TV should be a criminal offence as well! ;) You’re definitely going to want to go AMD over Intel though due to the latter having all sorts of issues.

    PCSPECIALIST Hyte Y70 Touch

There’s a couple of threads on this already but the one I’ve linked is the most populated. https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/threads/hyte-y70-touch.95026/#post-725153 It’s a fantastic case, albeit for a premium price. It’ll be between that and the Lian Li O11D EVO for me when I upgrade.

PCSPECIALIST I have a ASUS PRIME B760-PLUS motherboard, how do I figure out what memory would be compatible with it?

You can add extra RAM sticks in to total four but they have to be EXACTLY the same as what you currently have in there. Same brand, model number, size and frequency which, on older RAM sticks, is actually harder than you think (in my experience) so I’ve always just fully replaced what I...

    PCSPECIALIST Black Myth: Wukong

I get a rock solid 22fps on those settings. :ROFLMAO: It's been quite fun playing around with it this evening. Can get a good 85 fps average on very high, but any kind of ray tracing and fps tanks on the 3080.

    PCSPECIALIST Black Myth: Wukong

This looks absolutely stunning, even without RT on, but seeing the side-by-sides in that video actually had me letting out an audible “woah”. Extremely impressed with the fact that there’s a benchmark tool to see how well you can run the game, I wish more devs did this. Less impressed was my...

PCSPECIALIST Just bought this under a tight budget- can someone look it over and verify if the cooling is enough?

With respect, you've just picked the cheapest components PCS sell and put them into a case. That's not how PC building works. I wouldn't keep anything you've put in that build, but unless you take a proper read through of the thread Ekans has linked to, and give us more information, there's...
