I cannot see it being 10 days

i called them up 20 min ago telling them, iam going to the court.
Guess what happened. My pc went into building stage right now.

Delludus, please stop speculating and assuming, as I told you on the phone, the system was already printed for production when you spoke to me and it was going into building, you did not threaten me with court to do this, you did this afterwards, it was already done, as I said, any orders that have taken a long time to go through are prioritised autmatically to reduce the inconvenience.

Hello there Delludus, I spoke to you on the phone earlier regarding your order. I do agree that you should have started your own thread for this particular matter, as you had your own point to make. Also using **** indicates swearing and is no more poilte than swearing itself.

We have explained to you the nature of what has happened with your order, unfortunately, we have had an unprecedented amount of orders this month and we have had to extend the lead time, bearing in mind your order is currently on its 11th working day I advised that due to the delay on the estimated leadtime we were priotising your order on a Fastrack basis and it would be built ASAP. It has already entered building.

We understand your frustration with the matter, and we have repeatedly apologised for it, we are currently doing everything we can to get it out for you.

However, I must point out, when you bought the computer, as others have said, you agreed to terms and conditions, you also accepted the the lead time given was an estimation based on computers being dispatched over the last 2 months, and this timescale was never guaranteed for you. By agreeing to the terms you also agreed that under expcetio9nal circumstances we have 30 days to dispatch it.

Now that the system is in built as you requested it to be put through faster with myself, you would now be succeptible to the charge I'm afraid, but the computer should be dispatched within the next 1-2 working days.

Again, I apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused, but unfortunately these things can happen, and this is why the lead time is not guaranteed.

Okay. I accept the apology.
Second. I dont mind even paying more for speeding up the process, just not the full fasttrack fee.
Third. If you would have said 30 days i would have payed the full fasttrack fee on the first day without any comment further.
I trusted you. If that is a mistake, iam sorry for that.
Thanks.

I applaud pcs for their patience.
I run my own business. i couldn't deal with an obnoxious customer like delludus.
I'd have refunded his money and told him to sling his hook.

Is it possible to tell me how many orders there are in front of mine?

Note that the position you're in at the moment may change as fast-tracks sneak in front of you, the amount of fast tracks is limited of course.

Also unless you know how many are being built a day the position may not do you any good, for example, they tell you you're position 250, if they do 1000 a day then you're close to the front, if they do 10 a day you're miles off, note: I have no idea on numbers built per day (and I suspect the numbers are confidential anyway), these numbers of mine are completely fictional.

Your order is in its 7th working day.

I would like to know as wel, the waiting is killing me especially when you see someone gets fast tracked on here.

Your order is in its 9th working day.

Order status updates and estimates of delivery are not given over the forum as it is not an official channel for support. I would also like to remind everyone that the best way to check the status of your order is on the website, often you are looking at the exact same information the person you are calling has.

Remember, the more resources we have to direct towards answering "where is my order and how long" has a direct effect on the amount of resources we can put into actually getting it to you.

Please be aware he, like all customers in this scenario, was fastracked automatically as his order had been delayed, if your order gets delayed also this will automatically be applied to you too, remember his order was older than yours. We will endeavour to get it out ASAP and the production chaps are currently working overtime to get the numbers down, it has just been alot busier than we could possibly have anticipated.

The voice of reason.

This man has it (sometimes...)

i know this has been sorted now, but what would the courts have done, you clearly accepted the terms and conditions which obviously said it may take up to 30 days whereby you can get a refund, there is also a graph about how long the PCs take to make and it goes up to 28 days

Thanks I hope so, his was ordered one day before mine so hopefully it will go in to building soon.

I know that, I was asking how many there are in front of mine.

I think that was a 'we don't tell people where they are in the queue' type answer :), and as I stated in my reply earlier, the number you are in the queue doesn't help at all unless you know how many pc's they roughly build in a day , which is probably company confidential.

Ah right, I just thought maybe they'd atleast let me know, or give an estimate.
I'm just confused as their estimates says it should be in Pre-Production for >7 days and mine, as well as everyone else's it seems, has been in it for a lot longer.

Remember that the times are just estimates, and the estimates are generally just an average of recent activity and so some will take less time and some will take more time, it just happens.
And also for every person you see complaining on the forums there are probably hundreds that never come near the forums at all and get their PC's within the estimated time.

Oh the waiting is killing me, Pre-Production 10th working day?:(

The wait is tough, no doubt about it. However, it is a wait well worth it. I waited and longed for delivery of my PC. Well worth the wait, Mrs Peel (that's what I've called her) arrived on Tuesday 24th. She's a thing of beauty:)

I'll post a review and pics in the relevant forum...
