Yes, laptops are faster than desktops (current estimates are 10-12 for desktops and 5-7 for laptops, ie. laptops take about a week less than desktops)

It'll just be waiting in the queue waiting to be built, if you've been waiting two weeks hopefully it should go into building very soon, and once it gets into building it generally only takes a day or two to get dispatched.

I ordered mine on the 16th at 8pm and the guys on LiveChat have told me mine is currently being built. :)

Thank You Tom :) In Polish ( Czesc,jak sie masz) lol I am really suprised.Everybody looks so friendly here :D I order mine 16th of jan and still in pre production.I was worry but now i need to wait another few days.

I wouldn't get too hung up on other individual orders ash. There are a lot of things in play during the whole process that you can't even fairly compare two orders made at exactly the same time (even with similar specs).

As Mr G. Ness used to say..."Good things come to those who wait" :)

I'm just confused is all.
My order has been built now. I hope it comes by Friday. I really can't wait for it. :)

I think this thread lost its thread a good few pages back and has been piggybacked on a fair amount that I don't think it matters now :D

Mine is in In Quality Control, had a hickup this morning with the psu shutting the computer down but it just needed an upgraded psu which only cost an extra £10, so if all goes well with the In Quality Control I should have the pc this week.

Say it's in testing for a while goes into quality control and is dispatched by wednesday/thursday you should get it for friday if you're lucky and it's done by then.

I can say it but not write it lol, :) Can also say a few naughty things that cant be said over these forums haha. Took a month trip to Warsaw in Feb 2007, Loved it, even though it freezing!

Don't worry about ya pc, sure it will go into building soon, if not the next few days :)

Same here, I got an update today in the morning "in building", I called them this afternoon and they told me I should get the pc either later this week or next week. I also cannot wait but I am happy with customer service, always polite and helpful.

Yeah they've always been polite and answered my questions. Can't fault them there.

Can You tell me how long Your order was in pre production?.I mean how many working days.

I placed my order the 16th January however I made quite a lot of amendments to my original order and I was told this may delay my order by at least a couple of days. So by the 10th working day it went to "in building".
