I started What Remains of Edith Finch last night. 75% off on Steam at the moment.

I'm trying to make more of an effort to play Indie games by smaller devs and branch out to games that wouldn't usually be on my radar.
Only...
Firewatch was wonderful. Funny, serious, sad all in quick succession with two great main characters. I wasn't completely sold on the ending after a near-perfect build up, but I'm not letting that spoil what was a really great game. The colours as well, oh my, the colours.
It's not immediately obvious from the specs or reviews whether all models have an LED light behind that on/off button. It's not mentioned in the product description and the reviews seem to show it in some, but not in others.
Either way, it's 'just' an LED light, BUT if it's causing you...
I've just bought Alan Wake Remastered and Alan Wake 2 from the Epic Games store. 75% off the former and 50% off the latter. I still have 5 days off from work so they should keep me busy until then.
Also bought Firewatch after it was mentioned above. Might start that this evening.
I did have a Google as I was curious and apparently some brands of surge protector click when they're protecting against an electrical spike, so it's perfectly normal, but to be honest, and I speak as an electrician here, that's not something I've either heard of or experienced before.
The one...
I would 100% wait for what's revealed at CES in the first week of January before committing to buying a new PC. We're going to see both the new CPU's and GPU's and £3k is a lot to spend on a PC that will be outdated in 2 weeks time.
I'm still unsure what you mean by an electrical clicking noise. Where was the noise coming from? How did you confirm it was electrical?
Your surge protector should be plugged into the wall and turned on before your PC is turned on. Your PC will plug into the surge protector. If it's not turned...
The beep code suggests a graphics card issue, which would obviously fit in line with the lack of display.
It's possible the GPU has come loose in transit.
The first thing I would do is register the PC with PC Specialist. All you'll need to do is show them proof of purchase and they will give...
You might not be as happy with your CPU choice after reading this thread:

There isn't anyone here that would recommend you an Intel processor at the moment...
You need 2 x 16GB modules as RAM uses dual channel memory and should always be used in pairs.
What options do you have on the upgrades page on your PCS account?
