If you have similar style RGB strips that are 12v and not addressable then you should be able to daisy chain them to the existing LED strip. If you want, take a picture of the LED strip that you have bought?

Hey if this is the Tornado R5 (code 749288) Then it has a single RGB header at the top [Header is for RGB LED Strips and supports 5050 RGB multi-color LED strips (12V/G/R/B), with a maximum power rating of 3A (12V) and no longer than 3m.] It does not have an addressable RGB header.

The RAM looks to be faulty I am afraid. I would recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care Team. If you feel comfortable changing RAM then they might be able to advance replace the RAM. If not then they will be able to advise you the steps to follow to get it back to us.
