Let us know what you think mate, I really enjoyed the first one but never got around to American Nightmare
Have this on the peripheral at the minute, planning to hang off until it's better optimised
If anyone is looking for something spooky to watch for the spooky season then I highly recommend Talk To Me and it's now on Netflix
Seriously it's excellent, best modern horror in my opinion since It Follows. Can't sing enough of it's praises from setting, acting, cinematography, originality...
1. There's more to case than being a black box mate, you want one with adequate space and airflow so the heat can be properly expelled from the case esepcially with higher end components that generate a lot of heat. RGB can be turned off though, I prefer minimal lights too but unfortunately we...
GPU's have gotten super power hungry mate so you really have to account for those transient spikes on the PSU. Solid build but I've tweaked it just a little to give you more performance, this would be a solid 1440p 144hz build but it has the best gaming CPU of this generation so should last...
These machines Scott recommended are top of the line, they will do anything you want them to do but only if they are properly supported
Buying a cheap VR headset, or a cheap monitor to match these two would be a colossal waste.
They are phenomenal machines with the 7800X3D being the best...
Look mate I get this is probably frustrating but we're genuinely trying to help, we're not just saying this to be awkward. We want you to get the best possible machine tailored specifically to your needs which is the the beauty of PC gaming but to do that we need details
Mate if it's the GPU it'll basically be the cost of a new one to repair which will be expensive. Without transferring the warranty PCS will not help, they only deal with the person who has ownership of the order on their account
Transferring the ownership of the warranty and account confirms...
Changing the RAM speed is because Ryzen CPU's in particular are very dependant on fast RAM to run optimally. The sweet spot right now is 6000Mhz on the RAM and I've gone with the best gaming CPU currently on the market, as a simple analogy you wouldn't buy a Ferrari and put £50 wheels on it...
At what cost? It's a better card and if you're ok going over budget to get it then sure. If you're changing or removing something from the build I laid out to get a 4070Ti in under budget then no it's not worth it
It's all about balance and trade offs, what I put together is balanced...
The 64GB of RAM just, but that can be added as and when needed
I only included 32GB because that's all PCS offer at the speed you need for now, I wouldn't drop to 5600Mhz for more RAM because that would hurt the CPU performance. Better to have 32GB of 6000Mhz than 64 GB of 5600Mhz because you...
This is what you want to be looking at mate, it'll tick 90% your boxes and perform really really well
32GB of RAM can be added at a later date to make it up to 64GB but only add it if you feel you need it. 64GB is a massive amount of RAM but it's easily added in later should it be required...
Frankly they picked very badly, you can do a hell of a lot better with 1,800. A 2 generations old CPU and RAM so slow it's basically DDR4 are not good calls at all then putting a Samsung Evo 970 for some reason when it's also 2 generations behind and fairly slow but still more expensive than...
I seen much higher requirements somewhere else? Maybe they got it under control with the optimisation remember laughing at recommending a 4080 for 1080p
This is where I'd be aiming in your shoes mate, in future I'd be looking to upgrade the GPU and move to 1440p as 1080p is kinda a dying platform. I'd say in the next year or two though 4K will become much more affordable as it's moving to the more common display type
Case
CORSAIR 4000D AIRFLOW...
Unless something drastic happens in the next 4-5 years I wouldn't even be considering a CPU upgrade over the 5800X in your shoes mate, it's a fantastic CPU plus the higher you push the resolution the less reliant on the CPU you become. Again unless something drastic happens in the CPU market...
