Help me please

Hello I am Jamie my cousins computer is overseas in Kenya we have just sent it back because it has been acting up in Kenya so we got it back factory reset it and it was fine apparently there was a beeping noise then it shut off my cousin said it was the ram but it had 16gb so we ruled that out but when we got it back and took it to a computer man Paul nothing was wrong so we sent it back and guess what its back up to its mischief, when he got it it was fine then it got slower and started showing white lines across the screen and would freeze after and would be unresponsive now its making chequered patterns we tried the F11 trick but when we click the final reset button the same chequered pattern appeared we really need help is it ram battery motherboard or something else. Help much appreciated

Unfortunately without transfer of ownership, you're a bit out of luck.

But the issue is a failed GPU, the pixelation in the boot screen confirms that. But without transfer of ownership, I'm afraid you're not eligible for any support.

Mate if it's the GPU it'll basically be the cost of a new one to repair which will be expensive. Without transferring the warranty PCS will not help, they only deal with the person who has ownership of the order on their account

Transferring the ownership of the warranty and account confirms that the laptop isn't stolen, without having this PCS will not help as they can't confirm it hasn't been stolen

It's not just the GPU, GPU's are soldered onto the board, so to fix it you'd have to replace CPU, GPU, motherboard and you'd only be able to get second hand so there's always a risk it's a dud out of the box, it will be close to the cost of a new machine.

If you're buying second hand, ALWAYS demand transfer of ownership, or reject the purchase.

You're not eligible for any support as you don't have ownership.
