Thanks just wanted to check

My friend said the 4070ti is a bit better but the plan is to get 5000 series long term when it comes out

Also I assume that case is way better
Obviously higher tier cards are better, that’s kind of how computing works, but it’s not affordable within your budget.

A 4090 would be the card to get for performance.

There's no point upgrading generation to generation, the gains are minimal, you upgrade when the performance is lacking on your current GPU with your monitor which is usually a 3 - 5 year window.

Generation to generation is just a waste of money.

I see

So no point getting the 5000 series after I get this build

I don't plan on changing my monitor anytime soon

Is it worth getting the 4070ti instead of the 4070 that's the only question I have left

At what cost? It's a better card and if you're ok going over budget to get it then sure. If you're changing or removing something from the build I laid out to get a 4070Ti in under budget then no it's not worth it

It's all about balance and trade offs, what I put together is balanced. Changing anything will upset the balance. Changing from a 4070 to a 4070Ti in that build is fine and won't upset it but changing anything else will
