Can anyone look through my specs to see if this PC is any good and will run any games at high fps/res and if it will support VR please?

What are you opinions on this pc build?

Or anything you would upgrade potentially?

If you don’t provide the required info it’s a bit like asking how long is this piece of string
Got you.

So, my budget is around 3 - 3.5k which includes hopefully two monitor. My budget for monitors is around £200 for 1

The use if for gaming, VR and streaming

Im not sure what 3080 means?

What headset are you using?

Why do you want two monitors? £ for a monitor is nowhere near enough, at this level you'd be looking between £600 and £2000
Im not too fussed about the monitors or headsets.

Just focusing on the specs for now and to see if this PC can run games on the best res/fps and lets say i did have a good monitor which would allow that to happen could the PC be capable of doing it?

Ok, so I take it you’re coming from console? The monitors and headset dictate the pc, it’s a system and has to balance from input to output.

You don’t just throw anything together, it all has to match up.

Until we know the whole requirements we can’t offer any advice, but no one would recommend what you’ve suggested, it’s really poorly balanced for any use

You would be correct in saying that. I dont have a clue where to even begin with a PC and it looks like a lot of guidance is needed lmao

So until you have any concept of your overall budget, and what levels of refresh rate and resolution you're requiring to drive, it's impossible to give any advice.

Consoles are absolutely nothing like a PC, they are 2 entirely different things. If you're trying to create a console equivalent experience, then you're doing it totally wrong. PC's are a far far richer experience from start to finish.

I suggest learning about the basics or resolution and refresh rate, don't take any advice from console players or influencers on the web as they don't have a damn clue what they're talking about. Check out reputable PC reviewers and learn about the basics before you waste a lot of money on a system that the monitor can't actually display.

My concept for the overall budget is 3.5k. I have seen a lot of PC's that are capable of running games on PC's much cheaper.

I will get a monitor that can run the best resolution and have the best refresh rate, but would the PC i have put together above actually provide this to happen? If i have to spend more on a monitor like £600-2k i will its not an issue, but im just wondering about the specs as a main rn

Again, the PC above is not well optimised, there are bottlenecks all over the place and it's using the wrong platforms for both VR and gaming. So no, it's crap, don't order it

There's no point advising you on an inappropriate system if you have no concept of what headset or monitor you're driving.

You agreed when you joined the forum to read the stickies before posting, it's clear you haven't done so. Take the time to educate yourself about the basics. Don't rush into this, you can't just throw anything together without making serious mistakes that affect the whole system. Take your time, learn, come back when you're ready with fixed budgets and details of headsets / monitors and we can suggest something.

Since you have knowledge, can you not quickly put together a PC that is suitable for all of the questions you are throwing at me please? I can imagine you have helped and built thousands of PC's and people over the years. as i said including headsets and monitors lets say my budget is 4k and needs to be able to run everything on the best settings to some extent and of course allow the monitors to actually have the good refresh rate and resolution. It will be used for gaming, VR and streaming/recording clips for videos etc

Ultimate 4k Gaming / Ultrawide - £3k for the PC, £1k for the monitor
4k Gaming / Ultrawide - ITRO £2.5k for the PC, £600-£1k for the monitor
High end 1440p - £2-£2.5k for the PC, £500-£900 for the monitor
1440p - £1.6-£2k for the PC, £300-£500 for the monitor
1080p - £1100-£1500 for the PC, £200-£250 for the monitor

This is unbelievably rough, but it's a reasonable enough guide for now.

If you have the budget for anything, you need to choose what experience you want to have and we can spec it from there.
If you have a limited budget, you need to figure which area fits your budget best and this will dictate the advice.

We need to know budget & resolution/refresh along with any other uses. Any advice would be made up otherwise.
