    PCSPECIALIST One-liners

This quite apt as I spent a couple of hours yesterday saying goodbye to colleagues that I've known on and off forever 20 years at my last client (different parts of the business every couple of years). Got told last minute that there wasn't any budget for 2025 for me, and was asked to handover...

PCSPECIALIST RGB on RTX 4090 flashes orange twice intermittently and cannot be adjusted

Can't give you any specific help as you say you bought from Zotac, but here's links to Zotac's own support/driver page for software (there is no firmware update for that GPU listed - only the 4090)...

PCSPECIALIST Ongoing Issues with My High-End PC – Need Advice

It's not your fault for trusting the marketing of the retailer. It's not your fault that the PC has failed and required multiple RMAs, have been sent the wrong PC, or that it's been sent to the wrong country. It's also not your fault that you may not have known about this forum beforehand, and...

PCSPECIALIST Problem with changing ARGB light

it looks to be a PCS SPECTRUM II COMPACT ARGB MID TOWER CASE, so will probably have a button on the case somewhere that cycles through pre-programmed RGB schemes. As it's an unbranded case, it's difficult to find any user manual/instructions for it.

I know they look all cute and cuddly. But, they are actually unpredictable, sometimes aggressive creatures that cannot be trained, and will scratch, bite and spit on you. The other is a Koala, I don't know much about those.

    PCSPECIALIST New PC loud fans/cooling

Was it already installed when you got the PC, or did you have to install it yourself? Anyway, it probably doesn't matter, but I'd do a uninstall and reinstall to see if something's gone a bit wonky - although I also know Armoury Crate can cause issues in itself (and part of it is installed...

    PCSPECIALIST New PC loud fans/cooling

I can't find a BIOS manual for the X870 motherboards, but do you not have any fan control in your BIOS settings, which would initiate on boot, rather than needing Windows and Armoury Crate to launch? Might be QFAN from the BIOS front page (to set a static fan speed, not for RGB)?

Wow, next thing you'll be telling me RGB doesn't speed up your computer - utter tosh!!! We do that at my current employer, and they double-up whatever we contribute.

PCSPECIALIST Question about Recoil series with 4080/4090 - power supply

Are you sure they're not the in/out for the recommended liquid cooler? Without it you may not get the performance you hope for.
