Sorry to hear mate.........that must be terrible slumming it with the Supra 😏Going by the reaction I guess I forgot to mention me and the GF split up a month or so back

Love the Supra. Hardly see any around here in the UK. Neighbour has a 370Z Anniversary Edition. I keep telling him he's too old and too big to be driving it and to sell it to me.Sorry to hear mate.........that must be terrible slumming it with the Supra 😏
QQ: do PCS install the OS on the faster drive irrespective of size? i.e. would they install it on a 1TB SSD if it's faster than the 500GB SSD?
Do I need to tell them which drive the OS should be installed on?
Thanks @Scott. My first M2 is (currently) the faster drive. But I'm only on 13 WD's so there is probably a good chance that I will upgrade my second M2 which would end up making that the faster drive! 👀It used to give the option when going through with the order. They tend to install on the fastest drive, which would previously be the first M2 drive..... but with the great options coming in for second drives now (and value) it's a bit greyer.
I would contact them on text chat just to confirm it's going on the first M2 drive.
With directstorage coming i think the answer will be yesIs there a tangible/real world benefit for having something like the 980 1TB as the second M2 vs the Intel 670? When the second M2 will mainly be used to load up games?
Thanks @Martinr36. So basically, the faster the drive, the better if I'm reading correctly:With directstorage coming i think the answer will be yes

Earlier this year, Microsoft showed the world how the Xbox Series X, with its portfolio of technology innovations, will introduce a new era of no-compromise gameplay. If you're willing to take a small hit on cost, you could order the minimum spec ram you can, and then just buy some yourself to fit, would save time and actually you may be able to source some higher spec 3600mhz RAM which would be optimal.Well this is disappointing. Just been told that the only RAM options available are as listed below with no ETA on when more stock is expected to arrive:
16GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 3600MHz (1 x 16GB)
16GB Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO DDR4 3000MHz (1 x 16GB)
My current order is: 32GB Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO DDR4 3600MHz (2 x 16GB)
@Martinr36 @Scott recommendations please? My gut tells me to wait it out.
Thanks @SpyderTracks. What do you mean by "higher spec 3600mhz"?If you're willing to take a small hit on cost, you could order the minimum spec ram you can, and then just buy some yourself to fit, would save time and actually you may be able to source some higher spec 3600mhz RAM which would be optimal.
That’s what I did. I ordered 1x4GB 2400mhz RAM from PCS and then nabbed some RAM on another site. It came out cheaper and I got 3600mhz CL16 instead of the 3600mhz CL18 RAM that the Corsair RAM comes as.If you're willing to take a small hit on cost, you could order the minimum spec ram you can, and then just buy some yourself to fit, would save time and actually you may be able to source some higher spec 3600mhz RAM which would be optimal.
The short drift is that the difference in performance between the RAM PCS stocks between 3200 and 3600 is minimal because the timings of the 3600 are slower so they're very even in actual performance. Thanks @SpyderTracks. What do you mean by "higher spec 3600mhz"?
That's a very valid option, but from my own experience, switching new RAM in is quite a straightforward procedure, and might be a fun thing to do with your son. The welcome pack comes with a motherboard manual which should give you a step by step guide to install. Not trying to persuade you either way, just basing the experience on what I did! Thanks both. Going to be honest....this is all Greek to me. I was hoping to get the build as ordered without me having to "fettle" with it. Gawd knows I'll be doing that plenty with the darn Flight Sim!
Looks like I'll just to wait.
