It's more suitable for non gaming use because you have larger pixel ratio to work in, so you can have more windows open at the same time.
Thoughts @SpyderTracks ??

got excited by the picture and price and forgot to read the specs. DoH! 🤦‍♂️
LG's 1440 Ultrawide is exceptional but also pricey:

There are a lot of other makes at 3440 x 1440 which are far more realistic budgets, the AOC is the one to beat really:

I own an AOC 34 inch screen and it’s transformed my computing experience. I play a fair bit of American Truck Sim and added field of view is great. When I want to play a shooter, I’ve got extra peripheral vision, I tried Total War Warhammer on it the other day and the battlefields looked incredible. When I’m doing day to day stuff I can snap two separate screens to each side of the monitor. I can critique potential builds on the PCS forum in one window and have YouTube or my work emails open in the other.
So that's Twin peaks....................

Season 1 in the first window, season 2 in the second. Season 3 on my phone. And the movie projected onto the wall on repeat.

Best show ever ❤️

I never understood it fully back in the day, maybe revisit it, where can it be found these days?

On Sky Box Sets (Season 1 & 2).
@Martinr36 - Just be aware, they screwed David Lynch over so season two goes rapidly downhill after episode seven and loses some of the magic. Watch the Fire Walk With Me movie after that and be prepared to watch the harrowing final hours of a damaged teenage girl. Then watch season three and prepare for your mind to collapse in on itself.

I’m a superfan and I’m still not sure I’ve got a handle on it.

But what a ride!

Sorry... was swiping on Tinder. What did I miss? :ROFLMAO:

I ain't a monitor guy at all. I know what I know from here, the likes of @SpyderTracks, and the odd review that I check out when something special comes along. I know which specs to look out for and which panels are respected, but past that it's not really my niche as I use exclusively TVs & VR.

In my minds eye, I can only imagine widescreen (wider the better) with a curve being the best view on FS2020. There needs to be a balance between GPU power, monitor and visuals though.

If you're on the 3060Ti I would say 1080p ultra widescreen or 1440p normal widescreen would be about your limit.
3070Ti would be into 1440p ultrawide.
Anything more is just a money pit all round.

That's too rich for my blood.

Will probably go with the LG 27GL850-B. Just wish it was curved as probably offer a better experience on MSFS2020.
I have that monitor fantastic monitor but a samsung g5 is a curved 1440p 144hz and costs about the same as a lg27 martin has been known to approve of a samsung g5

Hi @jamiephillips909. I was pretty much set on the G5 until I came across the LG. Now I'm conflicted. 😂
There both really good personally if I was to go curved screen it would be the samsung g9 as it would have to be massive but on smaller screens I dont like the curve so its a case of personal preference currys usually have a samsung g5 on display or some curved monitor to see if curved appeals to you
