Just ordered the most expensive laptop I never thought I'd need.

I think @Clintster is referring to this? :)

That's what I was looking for! How did you find that? Sorry to ask, having a mental capacity day here

EDIT: ah, found it, it's because I had my browser window limited across half the screen, and it's cropping the top bar of the configurator window putting it in mobile view, so I don't see the Overview, configurator and Detailed Specification tabs, as soon as I maximise the window it's there.

That was bugging me!!!

Thanks everyone, To be honest I want a laptop (DTR), I want AMD and I want the Nvidia GPU with the most amount of VRAM so I haven't much choice in the matter. :)

Just wondering while waiting for my laptop.
Will I be able to easily change from using it's power when I'm doing intensive stuff to low power when just using it for web surfing, watching Youtube etc?
Is it even worth putting it on a low setting when not needing the power?

It's windows, so will automatically adjust the power settings on battery.

The GPU only has a MUX switch, not advanced optimus. so If you're in dGPU mode, the GPU will always be on and wont sleep when its not being used, you'll need to set it to iGPU mode and restart the laptop, then the Nvida GPU will only fire up when it's call upon, but this will be in a passthrough mode so you'll have marginally less performance. As for the CPU, you can adjust the power settings, but laptop CPU's generally have a low base clock for this exact reason. you should be fine leaving it in performance or balanced mode
