Can i just say been following JayTwoCents on twitter, that guy appears to be an absolute Jerk, some of his comments to people are just borderline rude. He reminds me of someone with rich parents that has been spoiled all his life the way he acts.

On his video video side i've always found them quite entertaining and kindo informative but i've never read comments or his twitter feed.

Maybe im being the Jerk but man he rubbed me the wrong way today. Is it just me?

I've heard this but not paid it much attention as I'm not interested enough in his vids to follow his twitter and so forth. I just watch the occasional video if it's something that looks interesting.

And dammit, I was going to post a link to the first GTX 1070 AIB review I saw earlier today but it was taken down: http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/msi-geforce-gtx-1070-gaming-x-review-offline.html

Suffice to say, temps and performance are better than the founders, and I think I saw it beating the FuryX in Ashes and Warhammer Total War DX12 at 1080 and 1440p.

have they published prices?

I believe so. I didn't read anything that said the pricing was a guess. £399 for the founders edition with an approx price point of £320 for the following retail releases.

Out today as far as I'm aware.

From 2pm, prices have not yet been published in online retailers

So that's a no then, there aren't any confirmed actual UK prices yet then, as those articles whilst they may end up being close to the price aren't the verified prices here yet - US prices aren't always a good thing to base UK prices off anyway :)

I'm not following you. I merely stated that I thought the GTX1070 was good value. I don't have inside information and I'm not a retailer so I'm not really sure why you are quizzing me on a statement that I've made regarding the cost?

The prices have been listed well in advance of the launch date today. If you are suggesting that the pricing is wrong then I'm not the person to answer any questions on that, I can only go from what I have read and show the sources of my information.

Are you sure? They didn't state that it was a guess, they stated what the prices are going to be.

GTX 1080 will cost £619 and launch May 27, with GTX 1070 following June 10 for £399.

That line alone reads like a statement of fact to me?

I am not quizzing you, I am curious since I am interested in purchasing one and I though you may have found a retailer that have published their prices before 2pm, that's all.

No, I haven't even looked to be honest. I doubt any of them would be silly enough to annoy Nvidia with such a big event though :D

However, regarding the price. I think it IS known as being £399 for the founders editions. Everything I am reading on the price was committed to late on in May. Whether retailers go above the RRP or not I guess is in question.

Another quote...

..the Founders Edition GTX 1070 will be £399 in the UK and $449 in the US.
