Should be on from 8 / 8.30 tonight for a while. Will probably be playing some Locker TDM and China Rising Conquest Large.
I've also updated my tag to [EPCG] as I joined Boozad's clan... To set your own go to Battlelog, click 'Soldier', then at the top right click on 'Customize' and then 'Portrait'. Type in your 4 character tag in the 'Tag' field and click 'save'. Unfortunately the tag does not sow in the Com Center [sic] yet but it does show up in games -- really helps identify friends in game.

Played about 8 hours now and I wouldn't say it's been all that much fun. Though I'm still giving it more of a chance.
Only time it is fun is when on a role in a tank or locked down in a squad battle with rifles, on the rare occasion that there aren't any snipers. 75% of the time I die from a sniper camped out on some roof.
Also just played the map with the swamp running round the buildings and twice it spawned me directly behind an enemy on some stairs (the same one) during that game, and I'm pretty sure it's happened to me the other way around in lots of places as well. All spawning systems have issues but seriously!?
I never quit games even when facing annihilation and my quit rate is around 15%, from disconnects and drop outs, which is waaaay too high. It could be the internet here as it's a little ropey but I have a feeling it's the game still.

I tried to play BF4 for the first time in over a week last night as my mate was round. I don't know what was going on but there seemed to be a real lack of servers and I was struggling to find any with less than 90 ping and then as soon as I clicked on them they shot up to like 200+ ping...
Are there server issues at the moment or has my internet turned hillbilly? It's the first time I'd turned my PC on in over a week so perhaps there was some background task eating my connection but I checked everything I could think of and restarted multiple times but still had no luck. There was probably 5 servers that had less than 100 ping and none of them had over 2 players in the game :|

Hey Grimezy,
I was on last night but it struggles to find a game but when it does my connection is fine.
Trouble is my NAT settings are strict for my PC so i guess that may be affecting me, only reason i know that is that it tells me in Assassins Creed 4. My Xbox says its open but i guess its different ports, i've tried different things but not managed to get it open yet.
Been getting a ping of about 34.
Whats your name on Origin just Grimezy?

I was on last night and had normal ping times and found quite a few open servers. Maybe it was just 'one of those nights'?

I'm gonna whack my pc on tonight, download the China rising patch, run virus scans and do all my windows updates and then see how I go. My internet isn't great at the best of times but I normally average around 50ping... I don't know what the sudden change could have been.

Yep had the same problem last night for a few hours, but I thought it was my net at the time. In the lobby it was saying my PING was 50 -75, higher than normal but okay, but then in game it would constantly spike to 200+ and one time went up to 999 getting me automatically booted by the server. These were all servers I don't normally play on because the Corsair one was completely empty.
