The Intel i5 12400f is better and cheaper, motherboards are a little more problematic being more expensive. Check out a few reviews of the Intel chip although, to be honest either would probably serve. One thing to bear in mind (if it bothers you) is that the AMD chip should / might be replaced...
A couple of things (just to kick off), I would put faster RAM in, Ryzen loves fast RAM. I think you need a better PSU, there's no headroom at all there. And I would buy a set of creative pebble speakers, much better. Or, have you looked down the Intel route at all?
My own (personal) opinion is that I wouldn't install the crate at all.
If any of you ever wondered what Satan's little imps do on their day off, it's design software like this.

Yeah, that's a chonky boy. So chonky it may well work perfectly well as the above suggests and switch the fan round. Try it and monitor temps before and after. Worth a punt I reckon.
Irish archaeologists believe they've found a headstone for the oldest living human ever recorded. It's badly worn, but it says he was 193, and known only as Miles from Dublin.
Looks good, be aware though that the case is a very small form factor, I've got one and think it's great but with an ATX board it's pretty tight. Just check that it's going to be right for you and that the GPU will fit.
AMD has been rightfully popular, partly due to the fact they kept the same chipset. But they have made a consistently good CPU for three gens now. Intel can't claim that.
If, if it was me, I'd get a sata SSD for programs games etc then if poss a HDD for data / photos / videos, maybe use the one out of the old unit?
Not sure about OS, as you've registered a copy you can possibly just download windows and it will remember the key.
