Good to overspec. the PSU so if you decide to upgrade to a power hungry CPU and/or GPU in the future, you're covered.

Must only be if you're selecting options which are either out of stock or on pre-order. As chopping and changing does not impact your place in the build queue.

PCSPECIALIST Hello all, any problems you can see with this spec? The main use will be gaming but it's also important the PC is reasonably quiet, thanks!

The more fans you add, not matter how quiet they run, will still generate more noise. The key is finding a good balance with the right case offering good airflow and the fans. Between the two cases, it'll probably come down to personal preference as both are good cases and are recommended by...

    PCSPECIALIST I need help

Have you plugged in the two antenna's which come with the PC? I don't think the MOBO has WiFi so that won't do you any good.

I think the OPs budget (inc. monitor) is around £1500-1700. So choose carefully @Martinr36

PCSPECIALIST Gaming Desktop for just over £2k check please?

@Martinr36 would benefit from 32GB for MSFS2020. Also don't need Network card as MOBO has WiFi. Maybe drop PSU to 850 to fit within budget? On iPhone so won't mess about with the configurator. PCS need an App! 🤣

PCSPECIALIST Gaming Desktop for just over £2k check please?

ASUS 3070 (the over priced one! 🤣) runs MSFS2020 pretty darn well with FPS restricted to 60.

    PCSPECIALIST Help with desktop specs

I can't comment on the case or the MOBO. Do you really need that much storage? I would choose the 500MB Samsung 980 and then a 1 or 2TB Intel rather than the Corsair. Increase the PSU to 850W. Remove the Thermal paste. Remove Bullguard.
