I think that meant special mounts that you get as drops and stuff, not the normal mounts.
I thought the shattering would be closer to cataclysms release date. Still, should be good

I've only been playing for about 1 month but its fair to say, I'm hooked lol. My only problem is my stone-age PC. It won't even run Lich King. The fps drops to 0 and stays there for what feels like a lifetime if I even set foot inside Ogrimmar. Also people tend to get annoyed (not that I blame them) when I join a random dungeon, they run off killing stuff and I hopping around like an idiot at 2-5fps. I finally settle at 25-30fps MAX.
Hopefully by the end of the month I can place my order here and all my woes will disappear just after cataclysm release.
As I'm still nooby to WoW (my only other MMPORG experiences being EVE Online and Runescape) I'm finding the learning curve pretty hard, so many different characters/roles etc.
Any advice to help me on my way would be great!
I currently have a level 58 Tauren Shammy, also started an Undead Mage on my trail period that is at level 18.
Once I get to 80 with the Shaman, I'll probably make a new character. Any suggestions on which is fun? What was your first character?

I used to play 2 years ago had a level 70 mage and 70 druid( Burning steppes server), healing heroics was well fun and i did alot of end game raids, i hate to say but I sucked at pvp as a mage, i never really became pro at pvp, and rogues would walk all over my little undead mage.
but i am about to make a come back once my PC specialist desktop arrives, hopefully not throwing my college course and gf out the window.
i think i will re-roll a warlock and try to get pro at pvp,i would like to keep my healing tree druid but i hear in some new patch their adding a cooldown to tree form..
also i will try to learn using the keyboard the right way as i used to use the arrow keys to play lol, anyone else do this?

Well, although its not for WoW, I've always used the arrows keys for the game I play (EQ2), and I don't have issues getting to my fifteen billion other shortcut keys for various other bits and pieces.
I actually tried using the WASD keys for the free Just Cause game I got (since it wouldn't let you change them), and OMG, it was a horrible sight, I obviously just cant do direction control with my other hand lol, been using the same controls for far too long.

thats one reason you have tab as well, although it's not the best.
You kind of have to get use to using both, sometimes clicking and sometimes tabbing. I prefer clicking the target if I don't need to move.
Depends on the gameplay anyway.. on a good note got my new mouse today .. and new keyboard should be here in 1-2 days max.

soo reinstalled the game, lvl 6 warlock and 12 druid...i havent once touched the arrow keys...been using the mouse to move as well as the WASD....its still abit tricky and i end up hitting the wrong keys most of the time! i think why the arrow keys were so easy to me was because of the spacing it has around it...either way will be a long time till i get fully accustomed to it...hitting 1,2,3,4,5 is easy at the moment, maybe will do F keys next...their is a mod to use your xbox controller as a control, think i might try it for a laugh.
