To The Moon is about somebody on their death bed, The Blackwell series are about those who've already died. Am I going to have to do a recommenations list for indie games to do with death? I easily could!

My finger slipped and it ended up in my cart, lucky I checked before hitting the pay button as I had managed to slip multiple copies in to the sum of about £95 😂😂😂

I love the series as they are some of the best point & click games released in years, but buying multiple copies of them is a bit much mate! 🤣

Indie game recommendations
This could be a thread I keep coming back to and will probably necro it more than a few times for future Next Fests! I don't know how wide the interest in these games will be, but having flicked through this month's festival, these are a few that jumped out at me and are very much on my radar...
I love Poker but my god they have the formula down for that direct link to the dopamine system in that gameI did try to warn everyone!

The constant multipliers, the fun noises when the little score number light up in flames when you've hit the targeted score for that round. Then the random aspect of the shop between rounds to open packs of cards and stuff it's just incredible how they managed to tap into almost every compulsive little trait
And then to top it off it's actually a fantastic game, that's really simple in premise and nailed in execution. I see this being my go to game for just chilling and trying to squeeze in a few games between dad duties for a long time
