I'm not saying that you've done something wrong. It just to try to understand if all is configured properly.
However if I were you I'd call or send an email to PCS asking if the cc you have is correct for W11.
I know @Vergaro98 and I’m glad of your help and efforts with my issues and I really thank you!
Anyway I finally got one hour ago an answer from a 2nd level tech of PCS and it seems they’re taking care of my problems now. I’ll keep u informed :)

My Recoil 15 is currently on tech assistance for temperature and performance issues. ATM it is equipped with 64gb 2666mhz Corsair, but are probably faulty and maybe they will be substituted.
I have the option to choose:
- stay with corsair 64gb 2666 (2x32)
- go for corsair 32gb 2933mhz (2x16, no 32gb modules available)
- go for corsair 32gb 3200mhz (2x16, no 32gb modules available)

Dunno the various CAS latency of the various models.

What do you suggest? Consider that I use the notebook mainly for gaming (i.e. COD Warzone) and for work (internet and office mainly), while sometimes I use it for video editing (Adobe premiere) or music (cubase).

CAS latency of the various models and comparison on performances?

Dunno the 266mhz model, but the 2933mhz has 19-19-19-47 while the 3200mhz has 22-22-22-53...I’ve heard that the 2666 should have lower latency so I’m not sure 3200 would be better than a 2666 with lower latency...but I’m not an expert

@SpyderTracks got the CAS latency of the 2666mhz module, that is 18-18-18-43. Do you still think that 32GB 3200mhz will perform better than 64GB 2666mhz, also if Latency is slightly better in the lower mhz modules? Thanks :)

UPDATE: my notebook is on UK tech offices by 3 weeks and they are working on it.
The main issue detected was temps too high and the fan options were not doing anything to change it, and the system was also throttling when it was doing this.
So they replaced the motherboard, the CPU, the RAM and repasted with special thermal compound, and retested in a variety of ways and given the laptop a complete clean and tune up.
The latest update of yesterday says that they have not seen the temperature rise above 90°C. There is no thermal throttling, and there is no issue with the temperatures or the CPU.

Then they send me a 3dmark benchmark to check, i.e. https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/72916346.

As you can see, the GPU AVERAGE temp is 82° and CPU AVERAGE temp is 89° (!).
Maybe I'm wrong, but...the temperatures do not seem to me to have improved at all, quite the contrary :(
In all the 3dmark bench I ran previously the RMA I had never reached an average CPU temp of 89°, as well as 83 ° of the GPU. I think it is safe to assume that if the average CPU temperature is 89 °, the maximum temperature has reached peaks of more than 95 °.
And, maybe I'm wrong again...but I do not think that an average temp of 89° for a CPU is so healty.
I'm really confused...What do you think about it?

The memory issue is not an issue, it's a bug with CPU-Z

The temperature issue, on reviewing your initial temps, I'm not sure there's any problem actually, those appear quite normal.
As already said previously, there was nothing wrong with temps that we were seeing.

89 average is very respectable and nowhere near throttling. Intel's run extremely hot.

@SpyderTracks sorry if I bother you, but...this is the last TimeSpy 3DMark bench of my Recoil, from RMA department, with system to standard settings: if CPU 89° average is nowhere near throttling, why HWInfo monitor clearly indicates that THERE IS throttling?

@SpyderTracks sorry if I bother you, but...this is the last TimeSpy 3DMark bench of my Recoil, from RMA department, with system to standard settings: if CPU 89° average is nowhere near throttling, why HWInfo monitor clearly indicates that THERE IS throttling?

Cos HWIngo incorrectly marks 90c as throttling on that CPU.

The actual throttle limit is 100c

90 is where it won't be able to peak boost but that's a marketing gimmick by intel that isn't achievable anyway at stock settings.

First thing I noticed is that THROTTLESTOP (latest version 9.4) now have all the FIVR Options (for CPU Core, Cache etc) on LOCKED status, and I can access it anymore, like before the RMA.

I checked on the BIOS on startup, assuming that some BIOS settings locked all possible overclocks\undervolts...but I haven't find anything. I'm on Win 11 Home, CC version 3.1.39.0, BIOS version N. 1.07A05.
Can you help me on this? Many thanks :)

It's nothing we can help with, it's a hardcoded disabling.

Did you ever have the ability to use ThrottleStop? Intel disabled this functionality in the vast majority of their 10th and 11th gen CPU's due to the plundervolt vulnerability.

*EDIT* - I'm pretty sure it was disabled in all of them.

Yes I do confirm that before RMA I can use it without problems and FIVR was unlocked and I could undervolt both CPU core and cache. Now it is locked. During RMA they changed the CPU, so I guess I was lucky with the precedent one?

I think it is more likely that they flashed your BIOS at the same time with one which closed the security loophole. I have read on forums from other manufacturers, that users had this functionality when they shouldn't have done, and it was removed with an updated BIOS flash.

If you want to cool the CPU with different performance profiles your best bet is by editing the PL1, PL2 and PL4 values. This is a bit of trial and error though and requires different profiles for different tasks.

hi @barlew @SpyderTracks: these are the temps of my Recoil, after RMA, during 30 minutes of playing on Call of Duty Warzone.
All drivers updated, CC on Gaming Mode. Do you still think those temps are normal? :unsure:

No, that's clearly thermal throttling. It needs repasting.
mhhh, I got the notebook from RMA just 2 weeks ago, it is almost brand new (they bring my HDDs on a brand new Recoil) and it already needs repasting?!
So a thermaltake kryonaut (the one that the PcSpecialist Technician applied), only lasts 2 weeks? I'm puzzled...

No, obviously not, it just means it's a bad paste job, perfectly normal, there's no way of verifying a paste job is done correctly until it's in use.

"Thermaltake" and "Kyronaut" are 2 separate things. One is a manufacturer, the other is a paste model by another manufacturer. We would always suggest using Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut

yes, sorry...I intended the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, of course :)
However I expected something like this ... as written above, when the notebook was still in RMA, that 89 ° average value on TimeSpy worried me, even if the technicians assured me that in their benches it had never exceeded 93 °. And indeed...
