We love you Ukraine
You can't even get decent fish & chips in some major cities (unless you want to pay £50 in some celebrity restaurant). When I was working in London, I had to drive about 7 miles to get a 'fair' fish supper...all the ones closer did frozen fish with fries in a polystyrene box.

Seaside fish & chip shops are the best...but our couple of local ones (Liverpool, not London) have been complaining about the cost increases and passing them onto customers...whilst giving bigger portions...so I don't know why they don't go back to the smaller portions and reduce the price?

We order 1 large fish and a portion of chips between 2 people (costs £9.50), and there's usually about 1KG of chips left over ;)
A friend was telling me about this place, it’s coal fired and cooked in beef dripping, desperately want to try it

I do like that they're sticking to what they know, rather than expanding to deep-fried battered sausages, chop-suey rolls, savouries, fish-cakes, pies, et al.

But they're a bit far for me...my fish & chips would be cold by the time I got back (even considering the way I drive) ;)

I think @Martinr36 is a little closer, but less motorway/a-roads will mean we'd arrive about the same time

So you were DEL by CTRL and now have to find ALT employment? That's not much FN. I'd go HOME if I were you, take a PAUSE and then look for an ESC somewhere. Crete is nice, but not right now.....

Somewhere with a bit of SPACE, and a bar that will let you build up a TAB to get completely SHIFT-faced!
