There’s also a famous car company in the states that does off road mods for cars under “spydertrax”

My handle first came about in the 00s, I think the plane guys are fairly new, but the car guys have been around a while

TRUE STORY

My dad was a wood & metal pattern maker and as one of the tricks played on the apprentices my dad would send them to the hardware store to buy 'a bubble for the spirit level'.

One day the lad came back with one - my dad didn't know that one manufacturer was now making spirit levels with replacement bubbles!

My dad was a wood & metal pattern maker and as one of the tricks played on the apprentices my dad would send them to the hardware store to buy 'a bubble for the spirit level'.

One day the lad came back with one - my dad didn't know that one manufacturer was now making spirit levels with replacement bubbles!

I did similar years ago when I was an apprentice mechanic, one of the mechanics made some comment about a sky hook, so the following day I took in a caving and climbing magazine in with an advert for sky hooks(used for rigging belay points), and asked what size he'd like🤣🤣🤣

We used to send the apprentice to the store for 'a long stand'. The storekeeper was in on the gag so he'd tell them to wait over there. After an hour or so he'd tell them they'd been standing long enough and sent them back.....
