Did you delete all existing paritions on the OS drive and install to that location?

I did it all as detailed above.
Then you want to install the AMD driver updater from here:
Run that and let it update any drivers it needs to.
Then install your NVidia driver from here, but do a custom install and leave out the HDAudio component:
