As above, check your licensing.Has anyone got this to work? I have tried everything (powershell, CMD, run commands) even a fresh install of Windows and still keep getting the 'you need a new app to open this ms-windows-store link' error message.
Saying it's activated with a digital license. Currently on a reinstall with a local account. There's a problem with your Windows system then. I would reinstall.
That would be recommended.Saying it's activated with a digital license. Currently on a reinstall with a local account.
I'm currently trying to reinstall windows using the tool form Microsoft's website but this the only Idea I have left :/

Did you do this ^^^^did you delete all partitions
So just to clarify, you ran the windows installer from the BIOS not from within windows? And then you installed all updates?Yup.
I have reinstalled windows from the pc itself = no joy. Also installed it from the ms website tested with local. Got nothing. Linked up my account still nothing just says it needs a new app to open the store
Did it within windows. Sorry new to this. Will try the bios methodSo just to clarify, you ran the windows installer from the BIOS not from within windows? And then you installed all updates?
Yup. Don't have any partitions on my drivesDid you do this ^^^^
That's not a clean install. You need to boot from the installation usb, then delete all partitions on the drive and install to the spare space.Did it within windows. Sorry new to this. Will try the bios method
You guys are amazing!! Thanks so much! 😊clean install instructions
Download a new copy of Windows using the Media Creation Tool to an 8GB (min) USB.
Boot that USB and choose a Custom Install.
Delete all UEFI partitions on the system drive (EFI System, Recovery, MSR Reserved, Primary).
Select the unallocated space that results and click the Next button. The installer will create the correct partitions and install Windows.
Run Windows Update repeatedly, even across reboots, until no more updates are found.
You may need/want to download and install the latest graphics driver from the Nvidia/AMD website (they change so regularly the latest version isn't always in the Windows libraries).
Just a quick question, my other SSD and HDD are not showing up? What do I do for this? You guys are amazing!! Thanks so much! 😊
Deal with that after you've installed and configured windows.Just a quick question, my other SSD and HDD are not showing up? What do I do for this?
Cool. All updates are done now. Is this a case of power cycling or do I have to re-add then somewhere?Deal with that after you've installed and configured windows.
Are you sure all updates are done? You have to keep pressing check for updates each time it completes a batch.Cool. All updates are done now. Is this a case of power cycling or do I have to re-add then somewhere?
