Hmmm Trying to think if Crysis 3 was or not. I guess its all about demand and the threat of server overload.
After a rummage I found out Crysis 3 WAS infact a pre load title.

Have to admit I'm getting quite excited about this (well, as much as I can for a game!) Been playing a fair bit of BF3 over the past week or so to get some of my muscle memory back up to scratch - I know BF4 handles slightly differently than 3, but getting my eye in now won't hurt!

Yea I'm with you there, as much as the Beta flopped for me I'm genuinely quite hyped up about the main game. My only problem is I've been playing pretty much the opposite genre's of games during this build-up to launch... Things like GW2.. and Fifa... and Rayman Legends... and F1...
I'm going to fail on launch day.

Funny thing.I got bf4 for pc and ps4 right now lol. I am more excited about ps4 version because i can play with my old friends and cant wait
Blimey, there you are looking for deals to save you a couple of quid and it turns out you bought two anyway! Will it not be frustrating having to use a controller to play? It drives me mad when I play shooting games on my xbox now.
Fortunately none of my xbox buddies are battlefield fans and all think Ghosts is going to be the best thing on the planet so I will avoid having to purchase BF4 twice...

I am with you on that one lol - I have been playing skyrim the past few days, mind you I did play bl2 a fair but last week and I generally adjust to whatever game I am playing with in 10 or so minutes.
I was really hyped about the beta and still am really hyped about release day. so whats peoples plans to get the game? digital download on midnight - midnight launch at a store? maybe wait until the following day and pick it up from a shop??

Not sure about GMG for disc copies Alex, I saw disc version was pretty cheap on SimplyGames and they're normally brilliant on deliveries. Only thing that put me off was they didn't mention China Rising anywhere on the description whereas everywhere else did... Went for amazon in the end :\

I expect to be pretty miserable at the game for a few weeks (months?!?) until I get to know the maps... Even them I'll still suck
Digital download for me -- I'll plug in the codes as soon as I have them and it should all be ready for me once I get back from work... and chat to the wife... and get the kids to bed... and chat to the wife some more... and Oh Sh*t! I've just realised my wife told me we're out to someone's birthday do Friday night... Argh!!!

Preorded it from GMG back in August when is was <£30. Not that worried about it anyway, I expect I'll be working Friday night anyway.
