hit 60 working days pre-production today. 5900x 3080 standard. expecting to wait another 20 :)

now i've been waiting since placing this order i'm looking at the queue times and thinking... i have the money to buy a 3090... would this build bottleneck anywhere? i'm not knowledgeable on the inner workings of components. i ofcourse won't add the 3090 without asking where i am in the queue...

last i heard and saw on here builds were being built between 65-75 days so you should be expecting it being built anytime now... this does of course depend on stock.

think us 5900X release buyers are all hitting the big 50 today. hopefully just another 2-3 weeks till we're plugging it in!

makes me feel better then knowing they've either received 3080's or have some in stock to fulfil orders. i'm a solid 3-4 weeks behind you in terms of working days in pre-production, so its looking better for me at the moment.

i do believe this happens in terms of a case, psu etc... not too sure about CPU and GPU though. i'd assume you're around 55 working days which isn't far off myself, i'm not going to be expecting any communication until im around 65-70 working days as that's when most builds are being completed...

I Did look into this and was advised it was possible but i've been let down by the company in the past so i'm sticking with Quality over speed.

After removing my "customer" head and replacing it with what once was my "customer service" head. I can admittedly say that I was and have been completely wrong with how i have approached the situation with waiting for my PC build to come to fruition. what i am failing very hard at...

I don't understand the hostility i'm facing for stating the obvious?!!? hundreds of people have posted in this thread alone at the sheer lack of communication they've had which has ultimately forced their hand in either changing components or orders to attempt to get their machines quicker...

when i'm expecting my machine? - queue position? stock levels? future expected order dates? future expected order quantities?

this has been my complaint for a long time! no communication doesn't help anyone!!!
