PCSPECIALIST Decent video on airflow optimisation

Which type??? There are several options, Dyson V Dyson Wash and Dry, probably only really an option if you have an open water-cooling system. Dyson 9g The old original, both sides of both hands together is probably a bit bulky :D I think the 9g works quite well with a computer system...

PCSPECIALIST Image upload broken on site

Waterfox ??? I've heard of all the others, but not that one. I've got Edge, obviously. Chrome because I need it for one partiular task, and Firefox as my default go-to for everything else. I tried Safari and Opera, but preferred Firefox. And if I don't use it, it's removed. I was a Netscape...

PCSPECIALIST I'm looking for a Wireless Silent-Click Mouse

I've got a Logitech MX Master 3 mouse. It's great, and silent, I can't hear any click at least. USB C rechargable, which is good. It lasts weeks from a full charge the way I use it. Normal office type work and gaming. I've also got the MX Master Keyboard, also silent and USB C recharging. It...

    PCSPECIALIST CES 2023

And you have to supply your own computer as well 😲 I think, as you have to supply the computer, the chair should be The Case. Coming with a modular 1200W PSU and those cooling fans installed. You then install your motherboard etc directly into the chair, on a slide out chassis, for access...

PCSPECIALIST You're not a wizard Harry!

I'm the other way around. I read a couple of the books, but they seemed a bit too much Enid Blytons Famous 5, with magic thrown in. I've watched all the films though, and enjoyed them. I'll look more at the game, it might be my kind of game.

PCSPECIALIST My favourite records of the year

I've got his first album/CD. I was surprised how good it was. After all, he's an actor, not known previously as a singer :D I'll have to look Legrande Jazz up. Jazz isn't really my thing, but this album is good. Also, I'm a fluteist, as long as you take a large pinch of salt with that (I'm...

PCSPECIALIST Merry Christmas & Happy New Year All

A bit late for Merry Christmas. Both Xmas Day and Boxing Day were busy, with family :) Then I did a 5 day working trip to Switzerland and back. Well not quite Switzerland, actually Friedrichshafen, on the Boden/Konstanz See. Switzerland is on the other side of it. Back home yesterday...

PCSPECIALIST Valve Hardware Survey January 2023

I had green script on a black background, does that count as colour? The C=64 had 16 colours, I think, on a colour telly. Those were the days

    PCSPECIALIST PC Game Deals!

4 Squad Officers and a Commander? No Grunts? No Sargents? Who is going to do all the work? The Commander runs the show. Officers pass his orders down the line. Sargents organise the actual job, and the Grunts do the shooting/get shot at/DO the actual job :D

    PCSPECIALIST PC Game Deals!

Yeah ! Days Gone is one of those long games. It can get a bit repetitive at the beginning. It has a sustained narrative all the way through. If you leave it for a while, weeks or longer, then you go back to grinding missions, and you're thinking, "WTH is this all about"?

    PCSPECIALIST PC Game Deals!

Got it now :D Well actually a few hours ago, but my keyboard disconnected and wouldn't hook up again. I had to download the old software, because the new, improved software didn't work. Just got it hooked up again :D

PCSPECIALIST Is this a good build for a £1000 budget?

Thanks, that's helpful :) I personally would suggest 2 things, leaving your actual hardware aside for now. There are others in here much better qualified on that front than me. Ditch Norton Antivirus, it's a resource hog. Windows Defender isn't and is just as good. Norton is also a pig to...

Us lot, in here, are PCS customers who like to try and help people out. And generally chat Computers. PCS are a company who will build a computer to your spec. If you order an "iffy" custom build, they'll build it. If you order something that won't operate, they'll flag the issue. Your...

PCSPECIALIST Is this a good build for a £1000 budget?

It's better to read this, and then post your spec page as requested, in this thread. https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/threads/please-read-before-posting-collaboration-of-helpful-hints.88726/ Include the link, in green, from the bottom of your spec page. This makes it easy to suggest what...
