1000W? You could probably add a few vacuum cleaners and a tumble dryer!
Putting the above into the configurator, it let me get away with a 650W PSU. You have enough spare power for a second small pc.
All very true, though the issue with climate change isn't that 'the Earth has never been so warm', its twofold:
1) That we humans have adapted to live in a specific climate, with specific sea-levels. Changes in this (especially the sea levels) could be devestating for us.
2) Flora and fauna have...
It IS a good film, but it muddles the central message. As a big climate-change campaign supporter I use it in my 1st year stats class as an example of a poor graph (the hocky stick curve, relating CO2 and temp). By getting the temporal order wrong on historic ice core data it set climate change...
Says 17th Jan, but I only spotted it today. It would be £1499 well spent, I think, specs £193 more:

I've not tried it but I've had the Steam controller recommended to me as being the 'closest to desktop pc' experience, because the trackpads are more like using a mouse. Though there is supposed to be a tradeoff, the trackpads are not so good for action games.
I'm no expert but that does look like the 2080ti 'space invader' fault:

£700 for a custom built computer with monitor is a very tough ask, but instead of the build above by The_Scotster, I'd recommend you look at the build on this thread: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/threads/build-me-a-pc-please.66462/#post-458425
Which was built by, um, ah, The_Scotster...
The coolermaster masterbox k500 or the mastercase h500 get decent reviews for airflow and have rgb fronts. I'd avoid ones like the spec-delta which have the fans enclosed - it limits their benefits
That really did drive me mad on my first PCS build! I tried to piggle it off, messed it up and got in a huff. I then bought a RGB fan to replace it. I tell myself I did that for the RGB, but I don't know I just hated that wobbly sticker.
There are different configurators for different CPUs/Motherboards, try this link for a good starting point for AMD builds: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/computers/amd-am4-gen3-pc/
Do you know what screen they game on? If it is a 'standard' HD screen (1080p, 60Hz) then the GPU looks about right. I think that the CPU and motherboard might be overkill though. I would go for something like this:
Case
COOLERMASTER MASTERBOX K500 RGB GAMING CASE
Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 5...
Hi,
It would help the people on the forum to know a little more. What kind of games do you like to play (racing, first-person shooters, MMOs?) Do you need everything (keyboard, mouse, screen) within that budget? If you do already have a monitor you plan to use, what are the specs - is it HD...
I would go gsync hd, for gaming. 4k is a tough sell on a small screen - I could see the point for graphic design or visual editing but a lot of the befefits wouldn't be felt while gaming.
Also, it needs a hefty GPU to game at 4k which is going to limit your frame rate and reduce how long it...
I know some VR these days say desktop 2060 and I'm guessing they just haven't rated some of the mobile cards. I'm still going fine on my work pc with a 970 for a VIVE pro, so I think there is more leeway than those tables suggest.
