Can you post full specs - Does this machine have a dedicated GPU? Either way, You don’t want your GPU using system RAM, it will grind to a slideshow halt. VRAM is much faster than system RAM. If you are using a DX11 application and you exceed VRAM, it will try to use system RAM and you will see...
2070 Super is way overpowered for that monitor. You could drop the GPU to a 1660Ti unless you plan to upgrade the monitor soon?
Storage looks a little low unless you have another drive already to put in?
No, at idle or just doing normal day to day task they are pretty much silent. Both Clevo and TongFang chassis have a control centre where you can select silent mode
Haha yeah that may be an issue then. In fairness, that is something to be aware of with any gaming laptop not just the nova, the fan noise could get quite loud and noticeable if in a room with others
I also have the Nova and it’s an absolute beast! I have the the 3700X and 2070 combination. The only thing I would say to consider is, if you’re gaming whilst sat with the Mrs the fan noise could get quite loud especially at stock settings. There are a couple of threads on here though, including...
The build below would be good for that monitor. It’s a base entry level 1440p build, comes out slightly over budget. You could shave a bit off my going for 3200mhz RAM but not sure the saving is worth

That error means it is trying to boot from network rather than your local disk. If you go into the BIOS, what drives are listed in the Boot Manager section or in the SSD/Hard Drives section?
Remove the anti-virus, it’s not needed. Windows defender is much better.
For the majority of most users it’s 144hz 4K. 360hz is for 1080p low graphics setting pro gaming or esports
Same, was just going to suggest that
also, for the OP, what version of Clevo Control Center are you running? Is the Clevo Service definitely running in task manager?
In Nvidia Control Center, assign a profile for CK2 to use your dedicated GPU only. Try running CK2 again. If that crashes try assigning the profile to use your iGPU only just to see if it crashes so we can try to isolate the issue
It is definitely drawing more power on the 2nd vid, both wattage and voltage is higher, because the clock speed is higher. What power mode are you in? Both windows and the gaming Center profiles?
The boots clock speeds reported on Afterburner arent always reported accurately as the max boost clock speeds, I’ve seen this a few times on mobile GPUs. Have you altered any settings in Nvidia Control Panel?
