Hit 62 working days today, expecting to be waiting at least another month going by the build times.

One of my friends managed to get a 3080 from Currys a few days ago, but I really don't have the time to keep an eye out :(

They're currently working on early-mid October orders But I also remember that they were working on early October orders on November 15th, when I ordered.

My partner just got a 3070 delivered yesterday and it is withering my self control seeing him play :(

What I mean, is if you've selected a less popular CPU (5950x), that may explain why you've gone into build faster than someone with, for example, a 5600x

As a guess, might be your processor or PSU making a difference?

55WD now... Besides my current system being on the slow march out, the only reason I opted for the 3080 was for Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 - I was worried it'd come before my 3080 but they're both delayed with no end in sight to this nightmare 😭 I think this is the longest I've ever...

Oh no! Did they say that was specifically because of the GPU change? I'm concerned all my amendments to things like the PSU and cooler may have affected my position

I'm the 15th, and honestly the temptation to cancel and order somewhere else is growing. I've ordered from PC Specialist before which is why I ordered here over somewhere else, but when I see other people in this thread ordering elsewhere and getting them quickly, it's getting harder to stick...

Well I've hit 40 working days now - this is me starting my mid life crisis, maybe time to get some go-faster stripes painted on the case. 5800x + Standard 3080 :(

Any deposit-only system would need a credit check, unfortunately :(
