all good buddy, confusing times we live in 😂, wish everyone could all get their rigs.Just wishful thinking, shouldn't have been rude to you.
I live 30 mins drive from Wakefield. I'll pick it up and deliver it for you friend............After 55 days, switched from 3080 to 3070 on Monday.
This morning I got "Order Dispatched".
Wakefield is 165m away. Hoping DPD can get it here over the weekend.
There will be photos.
better be some photos, thank you kindlyAfter 55 days, switched from 3080 to 3070 on Monday.

Because they don’t just sell prebuilt machines a queue system wouldn’t work as essentially could have thousands of combinations so thousands of queues, which would have very little meaning. The current GPU situation is of course very dire worldwide. The lack of communication is frustrating though. I understand why they don't offer a queue system, but I have seen other companies use one to good effect, as well as publishing exactly how many units they receive on a daily basis and are expecting to receive the following week.
Great to hear. I hope you get it over the weekend. The temptation to downgrade to a 3070 is real. But also I'm too stubborn to give in after waiting this long. After 55 days, switched from 3080 to 3070 on Monday.

very jealous that you switched to a 3080 and that triggered your buildingi stuck with the 3090 then i had that one moment where you're like do i need this really, revaluated my whole life then switched to a 3080
My partner just got a 3070 delivered yesterday and it is withering my self control seeing him playI'm even more tempted to change to the 3070 but at this point i'm concerned the second i do they will be out of stock and i'll end up at the back of another queue XD
Keep up the good workUnfortunately, I have not been active on the forums recently. We are being hit extremely hard with the incoming workload.
My official job description does not include looking after the forums, but I thought I would take time out of my shift to help with customers. This is because I do really care for the customers that are stuck not knowing what is happening with their orders.
At the same time, I would like to stress that the NVIDIA 3000 series situation is bad. It has always been bad, and we are still receiving customer complaints and request for queue positions when this has explicitly been denied in the past.
I do want to take the time to appreciate the customers that have kept their orders and appreciated all communications that we can provide. We have sent a larger format email over the last couple of weeks giving customers the rundown of the situation and with bullet pointed solutions included.
It is a tough pill to swallow knowing that a lot of you have thousands of pounds sitting on orders that have no specific ETA. I could not imagine doing that myself and it is why I am also waiting for 2H 2021. With Intel prepping Alder Lake, it is going to get interesting.
PCSpecialist WILL communicate when suppliers provide arrival ETAs for components. For now, we are still in the same position as manufactures cannot keep up with demand. This causes most stock to be paper based and ordered on the assumption that they can eventually fulfil demands. This is the same everywhere across the UK and of course the globe.
Again, your time will come. We cannot explicitly tell you when this will happen, but we will surely provide the typical build, testing and dispatch dates for your order when available.
PCSpecialist do not see the benefit of many of our competitors as we solely operate as an outfitter. We have many logistical hurdles and an overseeing production queue that ultimately decides when a machine is built. If you order from a component reseller, they have a much easier time focusing on providing queue information, this is because it is a singular item with a singular order date. They can provide estimates based off this knowing that minimal interference will occur as they do not have to factor in many other important components to complete an order.
I am starting to sound like a broken record, but this is the situation we are in. We cannot change the process and we cannot offer queue positions for items that DO NOT have an ETA.
Take care everyone and we appreicate all the support you are giving us.
Thank you for this update! Really appreciated, however it doesn’t seem to cover the instances within this thread where other builds have been allocated 3080s before older orders, are you able to explain why this has happened?Unfortunately, I have not been active on the forums recently. Without sounding like a politician and avoiding the question. I cannot comment on orders made through PCSpecialist on the forums.Thank you for this update! Really appreciated, however it doesn’t seem to cover the instances within this thread where other builds have been allocated 3080s before older orders, are you able to explain why this has happened?
Then they should be dealt with. Surely they are not going to allow trolls to continually post to their forums to purposely upset and enrage other customers and therefore create more issues for their customer service team?then again, he could have inspect elemented it to say in building instead of pre prod
It may be that they did have some in stock but now don’t as what they had in stock has been allocated to yourself and other builds. But I wouldn’t be able to confirm this is the case only PCSpecialist staff could.I think maybe PCS are snowed under and there's some miscommunication possibly.
Yesterday, after downgrading to the 3070 from the 3080 I had emailed someone from PCS who I have had email communication with semi frequently throughout the 57 day wait, I let them know that I'd downgraded and would be keeping my fingers crossed for a faster turnover than what the 3080 would be bringing, which was March. After I sent the email, my PC went into build, testing, and then it's now on awaiting dispatch today.
Today, a couple hours ago I received a reply from the same person at PCS stating they can understand me switching, but there are currently 0 3070's and 3080's in stock, little confused by that though taking into consideration this thread of people downgrading to 3070's, and very quickly going into build, and also my build doing the same.
I'm a little apprehensive now as to whether I'm gonna actually receive a 3070 in my build ? Or whether PCS have just mixed up what they have in stock.
With GPU deliveries they seem to be sporadic, so theres every chance it was in stock once you're PC went into build but when the guy emailed back it was OOS again.I think maybe PCS are snowed under and there's some miscommunication possibly.
