My blood pressure just SKY ROCKETED - then I noticed the date 😂 my poor stress levels can't take this

I know, I just thought when they sent me that email about everything being processed but my case being in stock, that that had meant I'd go into building within a few days as soon as they got my case - which led to me spending more money to rush my case to them. It's all just a bit frustrating.

Wonder if that means that the April 2nd delivery of 3080s has been affected :( I'm due to hit 100 days on Friday - I hope I'm not waiting too much longer

Your guy was a fair bit more optimistic about that April shipping than mine was!

To be fair, the guy also told me I had to be patient because the average wait time was 2 and a half months, when I've been waiting for over 5 months now 😭 so I don't know. If you find out anything that'd be amazing

I called to check they'd received my case as it was delivered this morning and I hadn't heard from them at all, and the guy on the phone told me I don't have a card assigned and the next shipment isn't until the 2nd of April - and even then, that might not fulfil my card. My 91 days is looking...

Well it's all been a bit of a kerfuffle at the last hurdle, with an out-of-stock case, which I've now had to order from elsewhere and send to PCS (arriving tomorrow) But according to the guy on the phone, if they receive my case tomorrow then I should have my new PC this week! 90 days, std 3080...

Zotac, Palit and some Gigabytes All fine cards, you're not likely to notice much of a difference between them and the high end cards unless you're really pushing the 3080 to its limits.

Aha, I'm day 86 so I'm remaining optimistic to go into building in the next week or two :)

Unfortunately no one here can answer why your order hasn't been built - you'd need to speak with PCS to see what the hold up is. None of this is an exact science and if you want to cancel, that'd be up to you.

I was told yesterday that they were also waiting on my case (Fractal 7) but that I was so close to the front of the queue that it wasn't worth amending anything. (ETA: Day 84 btw)

What other parts do you have?

As an aside, with wishful thinking for the future, does anyone know how you find out your PC has gone into building? Is it an email or do PCS send a singing telegram to your door?

Really feels like Schrödinger's PC at this stage, doesn't it :p I think the person most excited for me to get my PC is my boss - so he doesn't have to hear me moaning every time he walks into the admin room.

I remember that when I first ordered mine, I was oh so hopeful I was going to get it in January ;-; The time ahead of me stretches, seemingly endless.

I'm on 81 days and if I'm still waiting when the TI gets released - and if it was priced reasonably - I'd definitely be considering it at this point 🙃

The closer I get to actually getting my PC the more impatient I feel :P

I had a friend get one from Currys a few weeks ago but I think it's down to luck at this point. 70 working days!
