My 5950x went into build today

I switched from STRIX 3080 to standard 3090 (with a 5950x) on 23rd December and today (41 working days) I have gone into build! I'm so excited!

I upgraded last week but they're waiting on my 5950x as there's none of those in stock either... it's worth calling and asking first to make sure that everything else in your build is in stock before switching.

I think the power supply you have chosen is massively overkill for this spec - a 850w will be more than enough and would also account for any upgrades in the future. If I was you I'd put the money saved from downgrading the power supply towards 16GB 3600mhz memory instead of the 3200mhz. But...
