Should I be concerned that I’ve not had one of these emails with build time in yet when everyone seemed to get one this morning?
Given other posts on the forum we’re already looking at 10th July for builds then thats another 15 working days from today on top of whatever anyone has waited when...
That virus we've been living with since January? Think you'll find R below 1 - doesnt explain why the delays increasing so much when everyone says theyre being told they have the build items in stock
Thanks for your input.
Seems crazy that the working times have slipped so much so quickly - like just in the last fortnight - 30+ WDs now from what was just over 10 at end of May according to their actual stats??
The last email i got last Friday said they were up to 15-18 days average to dispatch. There must be a...
Nice! Be like a child on Christmas day now I'm sure!
Like a lot of other people, finding the delays tough. When i ordered i was quoted 13-15 days. This had come up from 10-12 days over the week whilst I'd been procrastinating getting my order in. At WD11 its now looking like its another...
I cant quite see where youre seeing 'processed' against a list of your orders. However i doubt anything to worry about if your main order has the right updated specs.
If you goto 'Actions' - 'Show' for that sub order at the bottom does it have a processed date? If not then might be worth...
Ive just checked the one change I made before and if i reverse the changes then it would 'refund' the same amount back to me so i dunno - maybe its just been done on PSU changes?
I mean there is an actual difference in the price not just the fluctuation day to day. The configurator shows the 1000 RMx as £178 - which is what i have on my build. The 850 is on configurator for £130.
Yet if i try to amend my order to knock it down then it only suggests a refund of £16 - so...
What I've found is that making any edits to the order such as upping or downing the PSU is more expensive than it woul db eon the configurator. I had to get the 1000w RMx as others sold out - if i try to knock down to the 850w RMX then it would only refund £16 - rather than the £48 difference in...
Hi, I appreciate like any of us would do that this is very stressful but things at moment are taking longer than expected and i think would be a good thing if we could try as much as possible to give businesses some benefit of the doubt whilst they try their best to navigate this situation...
Also contemplating dropping the HDD and replacing with 1TB INTEL® 660p SSD (looking into a basic NAS which might give me the storage need in future). Dropping to the Silver warranty can bring the price under 2620 although I'm quite keen on warranties
Hi,
Thanks for all the advice on these forums - I've always been a pre-built PC buyer, however my last two have gone kaput just outside warranties and bit fed up of how restrictive they are. Learnt a lot already from reading as many of the posts as possible and Scott's Desktop guide
I need to...
