From what I've read and other companies I've looked at they are getting worse. Even Amazon don't have certain PC parts or monitors for weeks.

Yes you will need to spend that much is the general advice on here. The 3300x is currently not in stock and new GPU's come out in September possibly, so you could try again nearer then maybe as the 3300x will be back in stock Id guess and the current GPU's will be cheaper. How much is a PS5?
