Trying to keep it under £2000

Will mostly be for gaming but will be a little video editing too in future. Is there anything I could change or even save money on? If there's something that would greatly improve this build but JUST takes it over the 2000 I could possibly stretch as long as it didn't hit 2100

There's no obvious flaws in the spec you chose. WHilst the Focus G is an excellent case (I have one and I love it), for a high-end system like yours, I'd be looking at a higher end case (something like the Meshify C or the Define 7, something around there). Definitely upgrade the Wi-Fi card to the Intel AX200 one as it is far superior and only £10 more.

For the rest:

If you are going to be heavy editing then the 3900x is a good call....if it's light editing, then you could drop to the 3800x. The cooler is similar...if you are doing heavy editing that requires high CPU workloads, then I'd look at the H115i Platinum....£50 more but a much better cooler

The major question is the graphics card as it is really dependent on your monitor. If you have a 1440p 144Hz one, then that GPU is perfectly suited...if it's lower then the GPU could be adjusted.

Can save a little money on paste and extra case fans?

But needs to up the WiFi card to AX200?

Cheers for the reply! The monitor I have is 1440p 144Hz and the editing will just be light editing so if it's the case where the 3800x will suffice for that then I'll drop down to that. Says the H115i coolers are out of stock at the moment and I'd love to get this ordered soon, possibly even today. Is there an alternative that's almost as good but better than the one I selected? Also with the case, for temperature, is it better to go with the case I have + the extra fans or the case you suggested without the fans? I appreciate the help!

Just to follow up with your question regarding extra case fans: Generally we avoid it as most decent cases these days have a specific airflow design built into them and adding fans can sometimes make airflow worse not better. Any case cheaper than the Foucs G would necessitate them due to their poor cooling profiles, anything above generally not needed unless running something like a 3950x CPU with a Titan GPU

To reply to this + your build I've decided to go with it, only changing the 32 to the 16gb RAM and see how that is, as like you said I can upgrade if needed. Though I'd love to get this ordered today and unfortunately both the H115 coolers are showing as out of stock. Would dropping to the H100x make a big difference? I see there's quite a big jump in price between the two and don't want to get one that won't be sufficient

EDIT: Sorry, didn't even see there were three H115i coolers, with the third being in stock. Could I still get away with the H100x though?

It's the 3rd of the 3 H115i coolers (The Platinum Hydro...basically, the last one on the list)..it's showing as in stock to me. If you click the link at the bottom of the spec I posted, it will take you to the configurator...just change the RAM and then click proceed and you should be good to go with that spec...just double-check it all as the configs mess about sometimes

Aye, I think something messed up when I first clicked it as it defaulted to the build I had before with the other H115i. All sorted now and your build is loaded, so I think I'm just going to go ahead with it and get that ordered. Cheers for help man!
