Hit 50 days today. 5900x, removed the graphics card on 26th December. I was told the same about being in the next batch or one after, that was over 2 weeks ago. I'm guessing Christmas/covid/Brexit has further delayed the components, based on the time people in this thread waited pre-Christmas...

So another working week starts. Here's hoping we all get the news we're waiting for. After 46 days, I'm still waiting for mine to go into build.

If you'd stuck with the 3080 it would have likely been over 60 days. Might be under 60 with the 3090.

I called today to see if it would be any quicker if I upgraded to a 5950x and they recommended sticking with the 5900. Still hopeful it will go into build this week.

Those 5900x cpus don't seem to be delaying things too much. Hopefully that means mine will be built soon (6th November order date).

It's likely. Maybe longer given it's a strix. Check out the 3080 thread for estimates, because that will delay you more than the CPU. There is a wait for a 5900x, a longer wait for 3080s, and an even longer wait for strix cards.

I managed to pick up a 3070 on amazon. Paid a little more than rrp, but less than I would have for the 3080 at PCS.

Removed the 3080 from my build yesterday. I'm on 35 days with a 5900x, given the dates others on here are giving I'm hoping it will go in to build soon.

Just picked up a 3070 to use for now, so that's one 3080 of the waiting list. I hope they're easy to install...

I'm on 34 days, so a while to go yet. I'll call them after Christmas and see what the situation with the other parts is. Its a 5900x so if I'm also waiting for that I might as well continue to wait for the 3080.

Given those numbers I think it might be time to give up and get it without a card, or possibly switch to the overpriced 3090

So, my 5900x doesn't say pre-order on it currently. Does that mean they have the stock and if I dump the 3080 I'll get the system fairly soon?

3070 seems to be out as well for the moment. Currys say they have the Vision, then when you put in a postcode it says not available for delivery of collection.

I'm considering dropping the 3080 to get the computer sooner. Can anyone recommend an available graphics card (either from PCS or elsewhere) that would do the job for now? Paired with an ultrawide monitor, probably Samsung Odyssey.

I have a 4k TV I use for the PS5/XB One X. The PC will be in another room
