Received my new PC yesterday, but I'm not getting any visual output, either on a monitor or TV. I've tried HDMI, DP and USB-C.
Now this might be a really stupid question, but I bought a GPU separately and was planning to install it after I'd checked the PC worked. Should it be outputting an...
Again, all praise to the PCS guys who must have worked through the night. Went from build to dispatched in less than 24 hours. Also received all of the game codes to go with my components at the same time.
For anyone thinking of sourcing their own gpu, I removed the 3080 from mine on 26th December and it was built today. It's a 5900x cpu, which are also hard to come by, so it likely would have been sooner without that.
Well if I don't hear anything this week I'll call them next Monday. Given I've had to downgrade the gpu I really don't want to downgrade the cpu as well. I'd back myself to install a new gpu, but cpu is something else. I'd probably take the 5950 though if it meant getting it sooner. Last time I...
5900x, but originally had 3080 gpu, which is why it's been so long. Removed the gpu 26th December, and was told I was now near the top of the list, but it appears they're getting little to no 5900xs at the moment.
I really hope that wait is just for the 5950 and not the 5900. Not relishing another 40 days on top of the 50.
I totally get why they don't allocate parts to a build until they're all available, but I wish they did, because then I'd have progressed as soon as I took the gpu off.
