Oh my gawd oh my gawd oh my gaaaawd!
Mine went into building about 1 hr ago!
Ordered on the 2nd of December and it's a 3070 and amd 5600x machine (the only two items that were preorder only).
Wow in build that's cool! I ordered mine 5 days after yours with a 3070 so it's promising. I did go for a 5600x processor though which is pre-order only as well so there might be that to wait for as well.
I don't want to get my hopes up and get disappointed but the prospect of it arriving early...
I was thinking about these two to be honest, I thought they were close enough to be considered variants of each other.

I think I am good on the monitor front at this mo. Just need my 3070 to plug it into...
I want to be an optimist and from what I understand tier 4 is back to how the lockdown was last spring. I think that PCS still soldiered on back then didn't they?
Also they are based outside what is currently a Tier 4 area so there is that as well.
nice nice! good to hear that they are trickling in. that's what I like to see. progress. And decaro matey you have been waiting a fair bit.
my order was on the 2nd of dec so more to wait as far as mine goes....
I hear ya I hear ya. My issue with HDR is that I keep on seeing that "it's not there yet" with this or that monitor, or games don't support it yet as much, so to me it felt that it's not something to focus thaaat much right now with the current monitor selection. More like something that is...
Hey there yes I took that into account, 240 Hz is a bit much.
The G55 is at 144Hz I think as it is the smaller sibling of the G7. But same size and resolution as the G7.

Price seems to be closer to what was thinking to spent on a monitor...
cool thanks chaps.
I think i ll go for the 32" Samsung Odyssey for now but the G55 I think at 144 Hz and priced more reasonably (for me) and not the G7. I have ambitions to get a G9 in the future, I think they look stellar, but after we finish some work in the house. For now I think the 32"...
I hear ya. I want to go big as well. My worry is that I will fork out some nice money for a 3440x1440 or more and it would be a struggle for my 3070 and 5600x. I think a 32" would be ok or anything at 2560x1440 for that matter, at least that is my angle right now.
cool
what do yall think about the 32" Samsung G7 240 Hz 1440p then? paired with a 3070 gpu and a 5600x cpu?
from what i have been reading, the 240Hz allow you to get to 240 fps which is insane. If the setup cant deliver that much fps in a game then the monitor will display whatever fps it is...
dont have an issue with amazon just its good to have options. also they get a lot of my money so might be good to spread the wealth. well my wealth at least.
only issue that i have with amazon in the uk is that it is turning a bit into alibaba/wish and for some products you need to search a...
oh yeah i totally agree but them little monkey words get into you brain and mess you up!
i ll just try to by pass them.
is scan another legit place to get a monitor?
Hi all
still looking for monitors while waiting to go in building which I expect it to be sometime in the new year (god forbid).
So I know it will be a 1440p 165Hz and looking at 27in currently.
Out of curiosity what do you all use? I am tired about deciding on a monitor and then go an...
Hey all sitting here waiting as well.
It might be a while for me as I got the order in on the 2nd of this month and the 3070 and CPU were preorder (Ryzen 5 5600X).
Has anyone else gone for a 5 series CPU and 3070 and gotten their box of happiness?
Also what monitor(s) are you going to pair up...
