By the looks of it they haven't even got past the first few orders from 2-3pm yet.
You ordered quite late on release day, I imagine there are hundreds before you.
They emailed everyone who 'had' ordered these a few days ago, I imagine you would have received an automated email during the next stock check otherwise. It shouldn't really be listed on the config imo.
Have the automated emails stopped for anyone else?
I last got an email on the 30th stating my build was estimated for November 4th, I've since bought a card elsewhere so cancelled most of my order and confirmed via livechat everything is in stock on my current build.
I was expecting another...
I imagine its the same for GPU as it is for CPU.
PCS have advised priority goes to when the order came in so if you ordered the card/cpu as soon as it launched (even if you 'amended' your order), you should be one of the first in line to receive it.
That's what PCS said anyway.
Update:
I have just spoken to PCS to ask the above question, they stated that the CPU's cannot be fast tracked; They have 'some' stock but not enough to cover all of the orders that have come through.
I checked my order and everything is in stock other than the CPU, apparently these are being...
That's not Amazon, that's a marketplace scalper which everyone is aware they 'could' buy from but shouldn't as it sets a precedence for pricing.
I've now officially cancelled by 3080 order after receiving my 3070 from Amazon (proper Amazon, not a scalper) today.
Good luck to anyone who still...
That makes sense I guess if tomorrow’s the system date.
It was my understanding that today is release day so all of the distributors should have stock of these ready to sell? Otherwise surely it’s a preorder as they don’t physically have the goods?
Also no RTX cards and I changed psu the...
I managed to modify my order to have the 5900x, also removed my 3080 and used the extra funds to upgrade my motherboard to the Rog Strix X570, a bigger HDD, and a better class SSD.
I was also hoping I could fast track my order now that I'm no longer awaiting the 3080 but am greeted with the...
Well good news on my end I guess.
I found a link where Amazon themselves were selling stock price RTX 3070s (Palit OC) low stock but I managed to order one expecting it was a mistake and would be cancelled but nope it’s dispatched and arriving tomorrow!
I’ll be cancelling my 3080 rog strix...
I don't think anyone, including PCS knew the extent of the stock issue.
I ordered at the start of October and actually had a live chat with PCS where I asked them directly how long the delay was for the 3080 and I was told 'currently 3-4 weeks'.
Evidently, that's not the case and the fact that...
Yeah I deleted the original post when I saw them disappear, managed to snag one earlier, didn't want to post the link directly due to bots etc but these are the Palit RTX 3070 Gamingpro OC versions, the non oc version is up for £800 by presumably a scalper company, the OC is for sale by Amazon...
Curved 1440p at 144hz pretty much leads to the Samsung Odyssey G7 but thats around £600 unless you can find a deal.
If curved is not a big need try the HP Omen X27, you should be able to find some within budget
Most likely another automated email when stuff is going to be out of stock for longer than usual.
Also I believe the Rog Strix 3080 is the NON OC version, at least there is no mention of OC on the option in the configuration.
I've been reading on a few enthusiast forums that very few non OC...
Sorry if this sounds pedantic but I'm talking about the Asus TUF Gaming X570-PLUS not the B550 Gaming Plus
Does that change things? I linked a comparison in my previous post...
Yeah we had a back and forth here: https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/threads/price-drop-when-zen-3-ryzen-releases.73223/
But somewhere along the changes it appears I've ended up with the X570 TUF board rather than the Rog Strix.
I'm hoping to add the 5900x CPU when it releases, the biggest...
I have the X570 TUF board on my order. Should I swap to the Rog Strix instead? they are the same price.
Edit: No, the Rog Strix is more expensive, configurator fail, whats the issue with the X570 Tuf board...
As expected its yet another automated email.
To be honest I'm getting rather fed up with the whole thing, I bought this pc to future proof myself, personally financed it and have a new monitor sitting in the box waiting for this to turn up (installing it for my current rig is...
