I'm really not keen on spending too much money. My last PCS build died after less than 3 years so I'm wary of spending a lot of money on another PC in case the same thing happens again. How about something like this?

To be fair I'm not really concerned about the budget as much as the wait time for the 3000 series graphics cards. All of them are listed as pre-order and I gather there's quite a wait to get them. I was hoping to get a new PC sooner rather than later.
My budget is flexible but I'd prefer not to go above €3,500 if possible. I don't need a monitor, keyboard or mouse and I'll probably reuse the sound card in my existing build.
I have a fair idea of what I'm going to get in my build it was just the graphics card I was unsure about.
I'm thinking of buying a new PCS build. I'm wondering what graphics card I should go for. I never play games on the PC. It is solely used for video editing using Magic Music Visuals & Nero Video as well as some bedroom DJ'ing & audio editing. I know that having a faster graphics card can make...
Unfortunately t's out of warranty now. I might look at getting a new PCS build on finance but I'm not sure yet. I had really hoped I'd get longer out of my current PC. It was still running fast before the PSU died.
Anyway I didn't mean to hijack the OP's thread.
Sorry I should have specified that it was a desktop I was referring to. The PSU died first and was replaced under warranty but when I installed the replacement the PC still wouldn't work. It turned out that the motherboard had also died (not the first time it's happened to me) so I had that...
My PC, that I paid almost €3k for, died after less than 3 years. Firstly the PSU failed and then the motherboard went. It's so frustrating that it didn't last longer. My previous PC lasted 9 years without giving me any trouble whatsoever. I wonder if it's just that modern technology isn't built...
My PCS built PC died and I had to get the motherboard replaced. The person who replaced it never reconnected the BluRay drive to the power supply and I'm unsure what cable I need. Can anyone tell from the photo below what the connector for the power is? I know that it's the one on the left of...

I've been having all sorts of issues with my PC since the PSU died last September. I ended up having to get the motherboard replaced which is annoying since the PC was less than 3 years old when all this started. I had a Gigabyte motherboard in my previous PC (a non PCS build) and it lasted...
Since people are sharing recipes I made a lovely starter on Friday when myself and the missus had a (virtual) dinner date with my parents..

I'm looking at getting a new PC since my less than 3 years old one died on me last October. I'm hoping this one might last a bit longer.
I never do any gaming on my PC. It is mostly used for creating DJ mixes & videos for YouTube (using Nero Video & Magic Music Visuals). I also do some image...
That was some great advice, thanks! According to the red LED light it's the CPU that's causing the problem. I'm not sure why that would be an issue as there is no connection to the CPU directly from the PSU and I haven't touched the CPU since I got the PC. I'll have to have another look at it...
Thanks for all your help folks. Unfortunately having tried every suggestion mentioned it still wont start up properly. This is what it looks like:
Maybe I'll just have to get someone more knowledgeable on PC's to have a look at it for me.
