    PCSPECIALIST Flight Simulator 2024

Yes thats what it seems like looking at various bits of info on the various forums. It does appear that you can move where your community files and cache are situated through options within the sim but I am not smart enough to understand if that means you can move them away from C drive...

    PCSPECIALIST Flight Simulator 2024

Whilst waiting for my new machine to come I’ve been reading on install paths. Is there a way to install this onto the non OS drive do you know? Seems a lot of people are complaining about it going onto their C drives and you can’t change it?

    PCSPECIALIST New MSFS pc v2

Thanks Scott. So long as it's not detrimental to have the 1TB for the primary then I'm happy. Everything else will be on the secondary drive anyway, my ocd won't allow anything else. £30 is £30 and I'm a Yorkshireman! On this occasion however, I am prepared to take it for the team.

    PCSPECIALIST New MSFS pc v2

I’m about to press the green light on this but would like a sense check if that’s ok. I turned the ram down from 6000mhz to 5800mhz as I believe thats the max the cpu will support? On a recent post I had a debate about upgrading my current pc but i am going to treat myself to a new machine...

    PCSPECIALIST MSFS 2024 Spec

Thank you for the speedy and detailed response! I’m happy to change the case, PSU and GPU. I‘d budgeted about £3k to ensure I can get maintain the sim running smoothly with all the settings as far up as possible. If it tips over £3k then I’m not stressed so long as I can get the result I’m...

    PCSPECIALIST MSFS 2024 Spec

Well, I’m very limited in my knowledge of these things but my current machine was built for FS2020 and has done a reasonable job, it struggles with everything maxed with complex aircraft (Fenix a320) and add on airports, throw in online vatsim traffic and even with fluid motion it’s dropping to...

    PCSPECIALIST MSFS 2024 Spec

Folks could you check that the spec I’ve put together is good for the case and heat management please? If this doesn’t deal with actually running FS2024 then I’ll give up. This is not the GPU that I will have in the build, I need to finalise that, especially with new the new ones due out...

PCSPECIALIST New 5800X, 6800XT and G9 built for flight sim

Sorry for delay, household building works...... Its a good question and a bit of a long story. Ive been trying to simplify things. On my old machine with FS9 i had the saitek yoke and 2 sets of throttles (some set up as tiller, flaps etc). I also had (well still do its just not compatible)...

PCSPECIALIST New 5800X, 6800XT and G9 built for flight sim

It's incredible, the immersion is something else. The peripheral vision makes such a difference too. The image quality is superb. You also get a tan when you've been sat there for a while, bit like Rodney that time on Only Fools and Horses! Flip side you save on heating bills.
