Sorry for delay, household building works...... Its a good question and a bit of a long story. Ive been trying to simplify things. On my old machine with FS9 i had the saitek yoke and 2 sets of throttles (some set up as tiller, flaps etc). I also had (well still do its just not compatible)...

It's incredible, the immersion is something else. The peripheral vision makes such a difference too. The image quality is superb. You also get a tan when you've been sat there for a while, bit like Rodney that time on Only Fools and Horses! Flip side you save on heating bills.

I thought I would outline my order, changes and experience. I was desperate for a new PC and I got the green light from the bride. Knowing nothing about modern setups I did lots of reading, learned pretty much nothing and drove myself to distraction. Anyone who can remember teletext holidays...

I thought I would update for the benefit of others who may be undecided and considering the G9. i ordered the G9 and despite it seeming huge when I measured it out, it’s actually not excessive, big yes. Its heavy, 14 kg heavy. Doesn’t sound much but because of the curved shape the combination...

If it’s helps,I caved a few days ago. I was only at 29 days and changed spec so have freed another up.

Got it, makes perfect sense! Thank you. This machine is literally for FS and nothing else. Its replacing the 3 that are running my FS9 (yes FS9) setup at the moment!
