All good now. Tried the update again and it worked! P.S moderators on hear are quality. I have had some great advice!! Little tips like the type of warranty and the WIFI/Bluetooth card which cost hardly anything has made a massive difference. Keep up the good work.

By the way I had no issues changing from 10900K to the 5900X CPU with motherboard. Needed to make a call to do it, but it was was a piece of poodle…. Even on half finance (was still in pre-build). Helpful chap needed to get it authorised and that took a day. Thats all. So a silver lining to...

Ordered one of the standard 3080s in a build with the Ryzen 9 5900X on 21/09/20 at 20:13. Now on 44 working days. Not too long now hopefully.
