Hi guys. Just loaded PC up and it shows that my Virus and threat Protection stopped working, Press Restart now to restart it. Once i press restart a message pops up saying.

Your IT Administrator had Limit access to some areas of this app. The Item you tried to access is not available. Contact the IT Helpdesk for more Information.

What does that mean. Thanks

I am using the Windows Security Virus Scanner. I removed Bullguard when i got machine.

Try going into windows security through settings and see what shows up there, and post a screenshot

I would lay that at the door of Bullguard I think. Even though you've uninstalled it, antimalware products are notorious for not removing all traces. There could still be drivers or dlls from Bullguard lying around that are getting in the way of Defender.

I'd have a good look around in C:\Users...\AppData for Bullguard stuff, also Program Files, Program Files (x86) and ProgramData. I'd even search the registry for 'Bullguard' - though don;t automatically delete any keys you find. If you di find tyraces of it in many locatiuons (and especially in the registry) I would do a fully clean install of Windows from bootable media to be sure that Bullguard is not there anymore at all.....
