Appreciate itIm glad I didnt lead you too far off the path
Told you these guys would be able to help out! You've got a very solid video editing/gaming hybrid machine.
Im now eyeing up the G7 nmonitor for myself.... My monitor was £20 less than that and only 1440p!
£585 for 4K 144Hz IPS feels like a genuine steal.
You don't connect to the motherboard but the graphics card.Sorry another question, as I have bought the two monitors which have display port and hdmi connectivity, does this motherboard in this pc system have the display
port connectivity too?
how many hdmi ports does this system have? and any others connections? Like dvi etc?
how would I connect both monitors? I can only see one hdmi port?
thanks
All new monitors come with DP cables included. It's the standard cable for monitors.Great, I am still comparing these to my current pc which I bought in 2010! I will need to check if my new monitors will have these Dp cables .
thanks
Ok I was very close to buying these from Amazon, did try looking at the Amazon links for these two monitors I bought today and some say it did in the questions/answers and some say it didn’t. I’ll wait and seeAll new monitors come with DP cables included. It's the standard cable for monitors.
HDMI is for TV or Hifi system connectivity, it's not for PC's really.
Great, I guess I could store it in my HDD as the final location. ThanksInstall adobe on the first drive along with the OS. Have the RAW video on the 2TB SSD for fast loading. In the configuration for Adobe, create a folder on the 2TB drive and set it as the cache location for Adobe itself.
When exporting, export to the desktop or primary drive. Once complete, move them to the mass storage or final location![]()
Yip, playing back or burning to disc from a conventional drive doesn't need speedGreat, I guess I could store it in my HDD as the final location. Thanks
Okay. Which format would these drives be as I know FAT32 is funny with transferring
large files over 4gb I think?
Do you know what file format the old drive was?I am planning to install my old1TB hard drive (1TB WD CAVIAR BLACK WD1002FAEX, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64MB CACHE (7200rpm)) from my old PC to the new one and transfer all the video files over to the new storage hard drive, the old drive is nearly full.
If I leave the drive in the new PC will this likely to slow the PC down?
